50kg for 6 is my PR. I've only been doing like 40kg for 8 these days but that's because I've done 8 sets of pressing by the time I get around to it. No idea what I could do fresh tbh, haven't prioritized OHP in 6+ months
102 lbs 4x8
115lb for reps
Not enough.
20kg
AmmI doing right?
not as much as i want to
150lbs for 3. I weigh 165lbs and I am cutting. Looking forward to the day I eclipse my own body weight.
110lbs for 5
I've been stuck here for a while, I might have to do something differently. Suggestions?
For me the first rep is the hardest. It's almost impossible to lift it without cheating with the legs. All the reps after that are realatively very easy even though I go back down to the same point, i thought my chest on every rep. strange.
the bar
135lbs x 2
Being strong easily is the only good thing about being fat
280lbs
could do 150lbs the first day i entered the gym 😉
Very nice. I've got arthritic joints so it's a bit difficult to force my shoulders not to pop out under something that's higher than 135. but yeah OHP is pretty easy to have high if you're over 250 lbs. Nice lift bro B)
I used to be able to do 275 for maybe 6 reps at that body weight but this was many years ago and this was seated shoulder press not standing OHP. I've slacked and shoulder strength declined the most for me seemingly. I never used to do OHP at all. Same anon here
25kg 5x5
3x10 35kg
105kg at currently 103 kg bodyweight. OHP should always be higher than bw imo. Also, don't trust other self-reported OHPs, not even mine - people are prone to claim their push presses and layback presses as OHP
90 x 5
90lbs btw
52.5kg for 5x5 is my current max. I've never tried 1rep max my lifts and I don't care
At least over 135 which at least makes me happy enough. I currently weigh 177 and am 5'5" tall.
>5'5" tall
>5'5"
>tall
I'll have you know that I have had girlfriends and sexual success. Height clearly isn't that much of an issue for some women.
65kgx5
bw: 74kg
Holy shit most of you are dyel af
we all start somewhere, bruh
Not much
95 for 5x5
keep it up bro don’t sell yourself short
45 pound dumbbell in each hand for 8 reps so far. Still got a ways to go.
When I went from 45 to 47.5, it felt so much heavier than a 2.5 lb weight
Bah, that will be a fun barrier to cross. Let's go.
185 for 4x10
I think I peaked at 115lbs. I weigh only 140lbs.
80kg or about 1.5pl8 1RM was my best last December. Cutting rn but still able to press 1pl8 for 8.
>100 x 8
>110 x 4

Started adding arnie presses into my arm day workouts and it's been helping my shoulder strength a lot, bench has been going up too, you kiddos should try them
187.5 for 5 singles.
30kg for 8 reps
80lbx10; 90lbx10; 100lbx8
155 for 2
(150bodyweight, 5'7)
135x8, single hand ohp dumbbell 80 lbs for 3
If I had to guess I’d say 205. I do 135 4x8 when I lift.
135x8 for a few sets translates to approx 175 lbs 1rm
If you did 150-160 for 8 reps you can probably do 205x1
I wish more but I injured my shoulder in an accident so I can’t push it without fricking it up
It’s my weakest spot amongst other weaknesses
I must use dumbbells and light weights and high reps only
Bros, I don't OHP because I have scoliosis and therefore my shoulders can't work in symmetrical unison. What does 75lbs x 8 in the seated DB press translate to?
30kg 5x8 seated because I actually want it to work my shoulders
185lbs @ 180lbs
155 for 3 is my max
a little over 1pl8
35 kg x 8 single hand dumbbell OHP
idk how much I could press with barbell, haven't done them for a long time now (80 kg was my record for reps)
last time I did it 1 plate for 3
165lbs for reps of 10.
One happy puppy!
45kg x6. It's hard yo.
12,000 pounds
135 x 12
165 x 7
OHP is one of those lifts I hate to max out on, like front squats. I did it a few times and tweaked something both occasions. I remember even using a belt for the first time on a 1rep max attempt and felt something in my back after.
Got up to 62.5kgs for reps yesterday, buuut I couldn't get more than 3 reps on the last set, so program says I have to deload 10%. Feelsbadman.
60kg for 3 reps at 70kg bw.
Do you guys use a belt for them?
