This. Doctors are drug-peddling scum with no understanding of actual health. Anything that afflicts modern man can 99% of the time be solved with proper diet (which doctors know nothing about).

I haven't been to the doctor since I was 13 years old and I'm healthier than ever. Only malingerers and hypochondriacs need to do """routine""" checkups.

You are mentally ill. I went 9 years without going to a dentist and when I did go there was nothing wrong with my teeth. Pretty good but I don't sperg out like a freak about dentists. Use the money you're saving on gp visits to see a shrink.

Incorrect. Everyone who genuinely trusts doctors has made a grave mistake.

They are the biggest cause of death in the USA via medical malpractice. They are behind the opioid epidemic. They are behind covering up the cures to cancer. They are the reason hundreds of millions have and will continue to die of lifestyle related diseases, because they profit off of them.

      American.

I go once per year. It's tax funded. I don't ask for anything. I don't usually need anything. BMI is a bit high but body fat is normal (20% last year, cutting now). Heart is healthy, blood pressure is normal, no illnesses, no pains, no complaints. As for not-routine, I had a nasty sore throat and a headache a couple years back, thought it was strep they said no. Sent me home with a script for throat lozenges. Like great I could have just avoided this and bought cough drops. Would have saved me like an hour of time.

Also I caught the flu this year, first time too. It was awful, I was in bed for 3 days and couldn't sleep for the first night due to muscle aches. I just drank some theraflu. Like wtf is the doctor gonna do? He can't fix the flu. All he can do is give you painkillers and whaddya know I already have over the counter ones. It was over in 3 days but that first day was brutal.

You jest but many people really do this. It's why there are such long lines at the free clinics, it's a bunch of people going to the doctor cause "I ate some beenz yo and now I gots gas. Is I gon DIE!?" If the trip would have cost them even just $20 imagine how many resources we could free up for people who need it? This same mentality in people who go to a professional for any little thing instead of trying to handle it themselves first doesn't go away because the taxpayer funds your medicine. In fact it makes it worse. That's why every euro health system has to constantly raise the budget above expectations, why finland had a whole government resign when they failed. It is unsustainable.

Im not jesting at all. I dont go to those clinics I go to a NP. Seen her like 5 times this year alone for dumb shit. Never takes me more than a week to schedule an appointment
