How the FRICK do i make this shit taste good?
I've tried soaking it in milk, eating it half-raw, eating it well done, eating with a bunch of veggies, adding a shitload of hot sauce... It just doesn't seem to help, it's fricking disgusting.

            Well yeah you won't get protein or calories, but you shouldn't be eating liver for protein or calories. In terms of vitamins yeah a multi will give you much more. Left is your average multivitamin and right is 3oz of liver. The Kroger one I used is only like $10 and will last you months. And you don't have to worry about spoilage, time wasted cooking and the taste

    The best way is pâte, but it‘s complicated.
    The easiest thing i found is to grind it up and add it to ground beef.
    Or, just freeze it in a tray for small ice cubes and swallow multiples of them through out the day like pills.

    Fry it on olive oil and onions, with a ton of ground pepper, throw in some cumin and lauer leaves.

    Eat pork and chicken livers if you cannot stomach beef liver.
    I'm a cook and I've been trying to make beef liver pleasant for consumption, trying new shit on it everytime, but it's absolutely vile and nothing really makes it appetizing.
    Doing it like a pate will not help, making it like a terrine but using butter instead of aHispanic and baking it low and slow in bain-marie is too complicated and will make it fatty and caloric.
    Soaking it in milk doesn't do shit, it just gets rid of the blood, soaking it in something acidic or some alcohol is better, but still not good enough and heavy marinades can't get rid of the iron/metal taste.
    Buy some papaine/bromelaine or a mixed meat tenderizer, cut it into thins strips, make an acidic marinade, leave it in for 24 hours, velvet it after marinating and shallow fry it.
    Saute some onions, mushrooms and garlic, make a rich cream based sauce with them and add a lot of milk fat/cream/butter plus some thyme and pepper.
    Or you can boil/fry the liver, blend it and chug it, if you have the gonads for it.

    you gotta soak it in milk for a few hours, then when you cook it it has to get just a sear or else the texture is all wonky. liver is one of those culinary challenges where it's near fricking impossible to cook right because it's simplicity means there's infinite ways to screw it up

    I might've had an advantage because my mom would make liver sometimes for breakfast just as I described above. I've always liked it, but I know some people can't stand the taste. maybe you'll just have to find some other food with comparable nutritional content.

    cut it thin, soak it in milk for two hours, fry onions in butter until caramelized, then fry thin liver strips in butter until nicely seared on one side, flip and sear other
    cut thin strips into smaller pieces, plate with rice and onions, keep something acidic to sip on in between bites (good idea for when you're eating anything that isn't particularly appetizing)

    Put it in a pot together with bone marrow, beef intestines, heart, lung, and tripe.
    Discard water after boil.
    Saute garlic, onions, lemongrass, and peppercorns.
    Put in the innards together with beef tendons/sinew.
    Add beef broth, or just plain water.
    Season with fistful of sea salt.
    Boil for 4 hours

    The best stews that I have eaten are made in a similar way. The flavours of the bone marrow, intestine and beef tendon overpower the taste of the liver.

Just pan fry it and slap it on some bread with cream cheese and a bit of salt and you have an absolute delicacy. Anyone who disagrees is a picky eater, likely beczuse of their autism.
