how do you not get sleepy after a workout and eating big ???????
that's literally impossible
i get sleepy but i cant sleep
i drink maybe 3 or 4 cups a day and i work from 4 pm to 2 am
>i drink maybe 3 or 4 cups a day
There's your problem
i get hyperactive from working out
like a line of cocaine
Let me guess you often wake up with a racing heart rate?
no
I simply don't fall asleep, mind races, without mega dosing magnesium-glycine and taurine and no caffeine later than 10 hours before sleep
take melatonin sometimes
Some people just process caffeine way more slowly
I am not the anon but I do wake up with racing heart and exercise/cold showers feel like an stimulant. What's happening?
I mean, ignoring the line of cocaine from working out, you should get checked for sleep apnea. You don't have to be fat to get it, just need to have a thick neck, hell even some skinny people get it.
This and also it's a symptom of over training. Get checked for apnea first through.
Sometimes, exercise exacerbates pre-existing cortisol imbalances, because exercise yields the body's stress response, when cortisol levels aren't in homeostasis, it can cause cortisol levels to just remain high
You address your insomnia. I'm in this exact situation right now
I'm wondering if this is me, between undersleeping, stress and exercising too much. Taking some time out and addressing my stress. Cutting down on my caffeine to see if that helps me too.
What is the solution if you have some kind of cortisol imbalance problem? I suspect my cortisol levels are unusually high, should I just ask a doctor to do bloodwork and check?
Do you drink a lot of coffee or work weird hours? Insomnia always has an underlying cause.
Idk maybe see a doctor or something if your own interventions are not working. What else is there? Might not even have to be on pills forever if you can get a stable routine going in two weeks or less.
Get more B vitamins and your sleep should improve.
I’ll try Vitamin B
That's a man
2 shots of vodka in a big glass of water. If you can’t sleep after that take another shot of vodka with a big glass of water. People here will tell you to avoid alcohol at all costs but if you down it like sleep medicine it does work and vodka is manlier than ambien or any other big pharma concoction. Just have the self discipline to not stay up all night drinking. It’s how men fell asleep for decades before prescription sleeping pills.
I used to do this but it's fricking moronic
Here anon:
0 caffeine after noon
No screens after sunset, if you have to, use a blue light filter
Chamomile tea with 700mg of magnesium and 6g of glycine, l-theanine is optional.
Go to bed, read a book, preferably by candlelight, you'll fall asleep within 30 minutes.
If you don't read (idk why you wouldn't) make sure you imagine shit or stare into nothingness as you fall asleep. Reminiscing about memories, whether pleasant or not, impairs your ability to fall asleep for some reason.
And like other anon said, vitamin B.
