Dawg you're gonna need a real hobby now. More than just fitness. Go park an old truck in the yard and work on it, go fishing at the park, that kinda thing. You gotta fill the void with something more. good luck boss. I know you can do it.

im not sure if you're joking, but last year i grew my own and had a couple tubs I was using for personal use. Wasn't even my goal at all, but one day I decided to put weed down and didn't think about it for like 4-5 months.

When I tried LSD a few times over a year, my desire to smoke weed and binge drink slowly disappeared. I think psychedelics can help get over addictions for sure. There’s some research about it as well.

Also like every else said, get a new hobby, smoking weed and sitting on the couch gets you nowhere in life. Quit the weed addiction and find a new, productive addiction.

Just stop it's not that complicated. When you want to buy - don't. When you want to smoke - don't.

its not an easy addiction to overcome. I needed a push to stop smoking. first I had wanted to quit for about two years, but couldnt find it in myself to do so. the push was catching covid, when I could barely breath on my own, smoking was practically impossible. once I had madd it 5 days no-weed I wanted to hold strong. find a reason to give yourself that push

Nothing beats a huge meal and a blunt after a intense training session but I have my shit together. I have a job where no one bat's an eye if I step outside and smoke right there I front right now but if I had to go back on my old trade I'd quit for sure.

The same way that you pick up weights at the gym N times a week.
The same way that you cut to solve overeating.

You say you're going to do it, and then you decide that you're going to be the kind of person who does what they say.

Everyone struggles with habituation and (in the case of food or weed) psychological addiction. It's always hard, and while strategies exist, they amount to cheap tricks for your mind that lose their effects quickly.

If you want to do something, especially something hard that requires a long term commitment with constant risk of relapse, you have to decide with finality that you want the outcome over the thing you're trying to change. Nobody can do that for you or make it easier or greaee the wheels. The best they can do is state it in the starkest way possible to give it the best chance of sinking in and staying.

do what my dad did. Find something that matters more than weed. He played jazz in a band of people he considered to be better than him. My brother quit dipping (which he started doing because of baseball) by getting ready for a triathlon and working out all day everyday for 6 months.

just figure out what matters to you and do that instead. also for me quitting weed I just spent the weed money on video games, movies, concerts, or whatever made me go outside and have fun.
