Asking for some skin advice while this thread is up.

I've had bacne problems for the past 5 or so years, started when I was around 18 and I'm 23 now. Only time it cleared up was when I got a bad sunburn one summer and it left for a while. I shower frequently, change clothing often, and have used some skin treatments. It's only really on my back outside of a few strays here and there. Real confidence killer, and is especially annoying because I have a pretty good fizeek relative to a good chunk of the population.

I'm thinking it has to be diet related at this point. Any of you guys have any experience going paleo and getting clear skin? I hate the though of having to give some good foods up considering at my fitness level I can afford some cheat food, but I need to fix this fricking problem already

I'll get bad face acne and dry skin around my nose when I eat shit food and goyslop. It's most definitely a diet problem. Also, sweat can often cause it. I'd also suggest cold showers or at least use cold water at the end of your showers.

Yeah I've been using lukewarm water for a good while now. Would go colder but during the summer its impossible to get the water cold. Maybe I could try some ice baths at the end.

What does your usual diet look like currently? Use a good moisturizing sunscreen all the time. Also get enough sleep and shower after the gym as sweat buildup caused forehand acne for me. Worst case see a derm, but don’t let them push you onto something physically taxing like accutane immediately. Maybe some less intensive topical treatments could work. Trust me on that. Accutane fricked up my joints and caused intense dryness for awhile.

My diet is pretty all over the place right now, but I try to limit sugar and dairy. Some shit slips through the cracks for sure though, and I'll eat what is available.

Ketoconazole, sodium thiosulphate work well. Will take some time to disappear, though.

Carnivore diet. For 6 months to fully reset. Then slowly reintroduce foods one at a time.

like the other one said it's a fungus. I got it on my neck when I was tire flipping and the gym leaves the tires outside 24/7. I used athletes foot spray. I'd spray it on smear it all over my neck and leave it there till I showered the next day. It went away in a week.

LISTEN TO ME SENPAI, I'M ABOUT TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE:

what you need is an antifungal pill called fluconazole. You have tinea vericolor. I had it most of my life. Those rashes are inflammation from microscopic yeast on your skin eating the oils in your sweat or whatever.

I tried everything to treat it. My mom took me to a ~~*dermatologist*~~ when I was 20 to treat it and they gve me ketoconazole, the same drug but it has the side effect of killing your T levels so I quit taking it.

Haha thanks for paying an $80 copay for a so called expert to give me soe big pharma bullsht when I found a better cure on the first page of a google search.

you have tinea versicolor. the cure is 300mg of fluconazole once a week for a few weeks. it comes from your sweat. don't let yourself stay sweaty and grimy for a long time w/o taking a shower. Frick big pharma. (i bought it on an online pharmacy by myself) Together we can defeat the israelites

Ya looks like tinea versicolor. Fluconazole worked for me temporarily but it would always come back. Try taking a bath once a week with 1 tablespoon of nu-stock. You can buy it on Amazon cheap and its marketed for animals. Don't worry it works just as good on humans. Fixed my tinea versicolor in about a month and hasn't come back yet

I used to have this shit covering my whole body for years until I used tea tree oil diluted in coconut oil to kill the fungal infection and vaseline as a protective coat and to seal moisture after my showers.
Took a month to start seeing results.

I got something like that once. I went to a dermatologist, and was expecting them to prescribe me some expensive shit. Instead they said it was because I was using soap on my entire body every time I showered, and was drying my skin out. So I cut down to just soap on my armpits, midsection, ass and face when showering, and it gradually went away. Also get a moisturizing cream.
