There's no magic to training right. It's just about triggering the mechanism of hypertrophy. Which is why Sam is always talking about getting a good "pump". So long as you get a good pump and consistently get it, you're going to make gains.
Science based lifters will debate about the ideal range of motion, control, weight, sets/reps, etc but in reality, none of that really matters compared to the pump. And you're only going to continually workout and show up every day if you do get a good pump and do things you enjoy.
I can work out until I am so exhausted I struggle to do reps. Always happens when I do a lot of push ups in high volume but I have no pump in my chest or arms. Am I working out right?
Sounds like high reps and low weight isn't giving a good pump so try to switch it up with some heavy pressing. And you might do a couple months of heavy incline bb bench / machine press / db press and then feel like you want to build up stability and endurance with push ups again later on.

He is a youtuber, famous for daily vlogging workouts. He is young and could get into body building if he keeps on track. His style of training is unique in that he goes for quality sets over quantity. His workouts are ~1 hour long with just 1-3 different workouts for the muscle group he is hitting. He keeps his rep range around 12 but utilizes partials, half reps, and forced reps with pretty much every set. That is insuring he takes the muscle to absolute failure.
He also has a personality for internet fame. Kind of reminds me of a young and less bitter and jaded Rich Piana. He's naturally / unintentionally funny and absurd, yet waxes surprisingly philosophical and insightful at times. He at seems to have an empathetic disposition and be generally good natured. Likeable guy, especially for insecure and superficial zoomies and alphas.

How do you think your elbow extends goofball? I’m not saying that’s the most productive way to do a tricep extension but he’s fine. It’s basically just a press. Yes there is more weight, but you could say the same with a bench press. Tendonitis is more a matter of volume and recovery than it is absolute force applied through elbow extension.

There's no magic to training right. It's just about triggering the mechanism of hypertrophy. Which is why Sam is always talking about getting a good "pump". So long as you get a good pump and consistently get it, you're going to make gains.
Science based lifters will debate about the ideal range of motion, control, weight, sets/reps, etc but in reality, none of that really matters compared to the pump. And you're only going to continually workout and show up every day if you do get a good pump and do things you enjoy.
I can work out until I am so exhausted I struggle to do reps. Always happens when I do a lot of push ups in high volume but I have no pump in my chest or arms. Am I working out right?
Sounds like high reps and low weight isn't giving a good pump so try to switch it up with some heavy pressing. And you might do a couple months of heavy incline bb bench / machine press / db press and then feel like you want to build up stability and endurance with push ups again later on.

You have to become an "ego lifter". Muscle is a response to mechanical stress which is a result of lifting harder than your body is accustomed to. Good news, you should be egotistical pushing your limits with at the very least 5 reps which is perfectly safe, and not with 1 reps which may or may not be a snap waiting to happen.

It has already been proven time and time again that you will grow with steroids no matter how terrible your diet or how terrible your workout routing is. Do a high enough amount of steroids and you grow even without doing any gym training at all.
