I don’t like how stretchy jeans look or feel at all, and I think it looks like shit compared to a straight leg which drapes nicely from the hips. The only way I can do this is buying 100% cotton jeans which are way too big so that the hips and thighs are wide enough, then getting the waist taken in. You can only take in the waist like 3-4” really without distorting the pockets, and then I wear belts for the last inch or two. I’ll probably move over to bespoke jeans at some point. I have a 34” waist, 45” hips, 28” thighs FWIW. I don’t really wear jeans much anyway, and I get all of my trousers MTM.
