A gram of flower or a gram of THC in edibles? Just cut your use in half for 2 weeks, do it again for a week or two, then stop. Fix your smoking windows so you don't get high until the "day" is over...or just quit cold turkey but that shit is really bad for the first week or two if you're a long time user.

The worst part is telling yourself there's no real reason to quit and that cope comes pretty fricking strong starting in the first day or two

Thc in edibles, my tolerance is crazy. Good points on the windows ty but I’m cold turkey or nothing

      This

You cant develop into a serious person in life if you are on any sort of drug. Weed makes you a passive little b***h, even when you're not high on it. If you have any goals, your path to them will be much clearer without thc.

I feel very clear and look clear but the boredom and sense of doom are annoying

      Weeds ‘harmlessness’ is so bad

get used to it.... its the same cycle....
        >what I did when I didn't smoke weed...
        >what I did when I smoke weed....
        lmao something like that

When you're bored is when you should be finding what you value to invest your time into. Hit the gym more, go for a walk, develop a new skill, call and old friend, there are endless possibilities. Right now your brain is wired to recieve easy dopamine from smoking, a week from now you'll still want to smoke, but a month from now you'll see that is was a waste of time, and that life has more to offer than getting high in your room all day

That's pretty nuts man even at my most addicted a 60mg gummy would send me nearly to space, so probably 100ish a day + a mysterious amount from vapes. Don't admire you trying to quit cold but good fricking luck bro

I quit smoking marijuana 7 weeks ago. It was difficult at first. Now, I don't have any cravings for it at all. I am so happy I quit.

Nope. I used to love the feeling I got from smoking weed. But that blissful feeling became fleeting, and it became nothing more than a dirty habit.

Switch to CBD bud. Helps with sleep still. I like CBG bud w/ HHC distillate, but for some reason it makes me crave alcohol so I don't do that anymore. I just dry herb vape CBD before bed. THC bud in social settings, but the last two times I had it I got the spins. Probably not for me anymore.

if you stay clean for long enough (>1 year), you will still have nostalgic memories where you had "those good times" on weed, generally when smoking with friends. But you will realize all the times you were using alone that you were converting your valuable time/money resources into chasing cheap highs for absolutely no gain, in fact a net negative to your cognitive and physical health.

I've been clean for a bit over a year, if I had the chance to smoke with the bros again I'd do it in a heartbeat. But frick using alone. I can get a much more enjoyable high going on a nice roon or doing some heavy powercleans instead.

This. Haven't smoked in over 4 years and I have fond memories of smoking with friends at uni and listening to music/laughing, but can't for the life of me think of a good memory when smoking alone in the evening.

I smoked w uni friends and never talked to them again, good times

As sad as it sounds staying out smoking out of apples w friends at cemeteries was the highlight of my youth

Same in terms of never talking to them again. I like to think of it all as an experience that stayed in my youth/20s. Like playing with toy guns when you were a kid. You wouldn't do that at again at age 17, cause it wouldn't be fun anymore. I like to think of drugs the same way. I wouldn't do them again at age 30 now unless for some reason I was together with the same bunch of people, but even then I would be chasing that old high again and the novelty wouldn't be there. It's more fun to think back to those memories rather than try and re-enact them and face the disappointment. But that's just my perspective.

How the frick do people have a problem with weed? I’ve literally had the same bag of weed for like 6 months because I only ever smoke it once in a blue moon, I never feel compelled to do it when I know I shouldn’t

Read and go to sleep when you get tired. Being stoned is fun but so is being able to concentrate and sleep properly. You're not really going to suffer without weed, it just feels terminally boring for a few days because you're used to chemical entertainment.

Also been a weed junkie, also been an opiate junkie. For anyone who went ham, weed withdrawals are no joke. I remember barely being able to eat, constantly agitated, thinking about it all day. Just remember this too shall pass. Don't feel guilty if you gotta take it easy for a few days, take time off if you need. Find a dumb show and binge it.

It might not be the most sophisticated advice but just fricking stop, I one day stopped feeling the need to smoke weed and didn't enjoy it anymore, so I stopped doing it

I use a timer-box and lock away my stash for 10 days each time to keep tolerance low and productivity on a acceptable level. This way getting high is cheap as frick compared to many hobbies.
