lately i've been using the chest supported row and pull down machines (the ones that are plate loaded), and they're pretty great for developing the mind muscle connection with your back if you do really slow, controlled reps
I see, thx. I do the plate loaded isometric row fairly often but I've been doing cable pull downs instead of plate weighted pull downs. will give them a try
I do 3x10 pull ups followed by 4 or 5 heavy sets of reverse grip pulldowns. I make sure to do a middle back exercise as well usually T bar rows at the end. Works for my meat vehicle.
