How to not be a fridge

Couple years back got in to oly lifting. Snatched 110, C+J 140, 90kg BW, 6ft. 3 kgs heavier now at 30. Do ~10 hours of cycling a week now but still look like a beefy thick not-quite-fat powershitter. Tips to drop size?

    It was cycling, figured i'd drop size doing 2 big rides and 1 small ride a week, and a 5x5 squat session a week. It's not working, so looking for a new strategy.

    You know of good vids online teaching the olympic lifts to somebody that can't get a coach? Is Zack Telander's good?

    Starve yourself or go on a fat-carb diet. On the latter you can probably mostly maintain your cycling performance.

      Zack is great but it's hard to progress without a coach. Torokhtiy is also good. To progress without a coach you'll need to film yourself a lot.

          Never seen a crispy looking snatch from someone that didn't receive a lot of coaching/advice from others. Most people that think you don't need coaching do those dorky cleans where they can't hit front rack properly.

          All muscle, specifically obliques, quads, and ass. Imagine the physique of a chunky toddler, but with very beefy, semi defined thighs.

          Cycling is extr3mely efficient in getting you from place a to b for the amount of energy you expend. Meaning that you won't be losing weight doing that. Are you sure you're an actual athlete and you lifts are not headcanon?

          I hit those numbers yes. My cycling FTP is 310. I'm not winning any competitions but I'm not weak. Mainly interested in aesthetics now and trimming down as arthritis becomes a problem.

    I would imagine you may have to go on a cut, probably something as small as ten pounds would make a noticeable difference. Another thing is you might take a break from oly lifting and so something else, say a three month break over the summer and spend the time doing sprint, jumps, kettlebells, and other more athletic movements.

    Having massive military press delts, holding the seat or something for way heavier lateral raises less risk, and hit abs heavy along with serratus shit and put your shoulder up and dig deeper to get your neck amd inner back stronger on rows amd delt flies.

    Honestly just buy a 40 dollar bb, mp seat not incline bench the short one, and its like dude no way youre strict pressing 5s-45s with 2 pl8s and the extras if you are you are a frickin tank.

    That and oly dbs are less than ~400 so like 4
    530 for a seat and stands. You kimd of want a homegym for arms shoulders and abs.
