Recently bought a sleep mask off Amazon and it's done wonders for me, completely fixing my sleep schedule (I now sleep from 12-8am consistantly)
while this is good, I feel like my sleep could be much, MUCH better, how can I truly max out my sleep so my test levels sky-rocket?
Sleeping with the head end of your bed raised at least 6 inches creating a flat sloped sleeping platform in order to boost circulation
So sleep with my head raised six inches up?
No
Now flat or sloped? Learn to talk coherently you fricking furry Black person. Wtf is this good for? Sounds like fatcope
Become CPAP pilled
If I pull that off, will you die?
It would be very tiring
Get blackout curtains and electrical tape. Put up the blackout curtains. Put electrical tape over any chargers, monitors, etc giving off low levels of ambient light thru their bullshit cute light thingies like power buttons
Frick white noise machines, get a loud box fan
All this together costs about $40-50 and will completely change the game
Why is a box fan better than white noise? Just preference?
Tape your mouth and breathe through your nose like a human being.
>How to sleepMAXX
*Go to sleep at the same time as often as you can.
*Don't use an alarm, allow your body to wake up whenever it naturally feels well rested
*Sleep cold
secondary:
*low blue light activity 30min+ before bed
*weighted pillow
*chilipad to help get a colder bed
>*weighted pillow
weighted blanket*
do not suffocate yourself.
>*low blue light activity 30min+ before bed
I swear this Black person of a site is blue for a reason. How to change it fricking. Black person trannies trying to sabotage us
good morning sir
>How to change it
bottom right change the style to: tomorrow or another less gaudy format.
Also, if on phone change to eye comfort shield or whatever blue blocker you can get.
On desktop I use f.lux (https://justgetflux.com/); eventually I'll buy some piss yellow shades like pic related and purchase LED light bulbs to auto-change my house into a red/sunset color in the evenings.
How bright is your environment if a sleep mask does wonders?
I have a ton of electronics in my room. I could read a book with all the lights out at 1 in the morning it’s so bright. On any given night there are swarms of moths flying around my room and bumping into the window because they’re drawn to the light. It’s a lot.
>Turn that shit off, get an analog wind up clock and put it on a surface out of reach from your bed (the ticking will drive you insane)
>use black out curtains or a mask, you want it pitch black
>put your phone on a charger (OUTSIDE OF YOUR ROOM),
>take off all of your clothes except underwear
>keep the room/bed cool (position your bed so that the AC vent is under the bed)
>don't sleep in view of the door some of that fung Shue voodoo shit is real
>dont look at a screen an hour before bed
>set your schedule to sleep at least 8 hours and give yourself an hour before you have to leave or start work/exercise
>don't eat or drink anything except water before bed
>if you consistently wake up get a sleep study to see if you need a cpap (if you have some way of monitoring your oxygen at night you can figure it out)
>record your dreams in a journal when you wake up (this will improve REM sleep and your memory in general)
>>take off all of your clothes including your underwear
Fixed it for you
>don't sleep in view of the door
HOW?
Must've meant pointing your feet to your door.
He mean's having the bed facing the door e.g. if you open the door and the bed is in direct view, move it.
I have mine situated like on the left. You could also do orange.
Can't do that room is not built to accommodate that the closet is on the side where the door is
You are fricked. Spirits will get you in your sleep through the doorway.
I have my pickaxe ready to fight them off
Sell your bed and use a futon
something soemthing room feng shui
your dreams in a journal when you wake up (this will improve REM sleep
>this will improve REM sleep
why will it improve REM sleep?
You'll remember more and more of your dreams and they'll get longer and more vivid. Correlates with increased REM activity which correlates with better memory and rest.
Ashwaganda seems to do more than 0 for me for sleep
I wear a sleep mask then put in nasal dilators to increase airflow. I'm a side sleeper, so I got a contoured knee pillow to place between my legs. This keeps my hips better in alignment. I also hug a body pillow to keep one arm elevated. My girlfriend is jealous of the pillow.
>nasal dilators
wtf is a nasal dilator?
anal dilator* sorry I'm dyslexic
I too breathe from my ass
bumping for interest are there any supps I should be taking?
>soouuuppppssss
don't get b&'d into that, moron
if you must fall, zinc/magnesium and ashwaganda are reported to have positive impact on sleep
melatonin helps you fall asleep, but for me it fricked during the night waking me up constantly
I had kiwi fruit and bone broth last night followed by a warm shower and that had me feeling pretty mellow for bed. My sleep has been spotty recently as I’m coming off Mirtazapine and am a caffeine addict.
Bone broth is godly, if there's anything anons should do is drinking it everyday before bed and before eating.
Anxiety and stress is waking me up constantly after 3/4 hours of sleep and killing my gains.
How to fix this ?
Bro, just don't worry about it.
smoke weed before bed, or if smoke bothers you you can dab or vape it
edibles are the goat but dosing them is tricky if you dont male your own
I can not use marijuana because it causes latent psychosis and schizophrenia in people who are genetically predisposed to it who may never have had it manifest otherwise of which I am a member
same
>smoke w/ frens
>go home
>the voices start
thankfully a nap fixed it
You were lucky, for some people that are permanently mentally ill after one marijuana session
Google bed tent.
Incredible.
Yeah try to keep the noise levels down as well. Personally I tried earplugs but they don't mask as much of the noise for the discomfort they cause. White noise (play from your stereo) works but ever since I got a gf I can't use it since she can't sleep with it on, so I keep it off when she's over.
Meditate before you sleep.
I find that my body ends up more relax after I do a session of meditation before bed.
I've had sleep issues most of my life and these have made a huge difference
>eating enough
>training hard- I never sleep well on lazy days
>massage gun
>sleep mask
>cold room, slightly noisy fan
>pillow between knees (side sleeper)
>not drinking a ton of water before bed
>reading before bed for 30min-1hr
>bed time routine: brush teeth, wash face, etc.
