good cleanser for morning and night, I just look at dermotologist shorts recommendations and cross reference all of those, a retinol for skin repair at night, a night moisturizer helps retain the retinol for a better effect I THINK and uhhhh sunscreen/moisturizer for the day, salysylicilsyc acid solution if you have acne prone skin + visible pores on nose, I use it in the day as it doesnt seem to have much of an effect at night, I'll apply that before my moisturizer, but yknow figure out what works for you, I use based balm's moisturizer for the day and it seems to do the trick, they have an option with zinc for spf as well, relatively cheap whenever they're running a sale and each container will last you ages. more importantly look into the several ingredients there are and what you're looking for be it skin repair or just an age protection, the sooner the better

Alcohol free witch hazel, USE SUNSCREEN, hydrate, change your pillowcase regularly. Those are the absolute basics.

this and soft towels, have a designated face towel and make sure it dries properly, ONLY PAT your face dry, I personally don't use hazel as I consider it too harsh for the skin but experiment, it might be best 4 u, and by regularly changing/washing ur pillowcase he means max 1 week at a time, sooner the better.

I think that scrubbing your face with a towel hard after washing it is good for you, since it removes the dead skin cells that didnt get washed away. Think of it like sandpaper

Take some hands and face moisturizer and use it on those areas every night before bed

I prefer to use something unscented, but buying something that smells nice it's also ok

Use a roll on before bed, with something natural, you don't need antiperspirants while you are at home, if you are sweaty take a shower, use antiperspirants only before going out.

the limit of topical applications is very low, there's only so much you can do until botox is your best option. that's why skin care should always be preventative instead of reactive.
    >sunscreen (as much as possible because nothing on earth ages you like the sun does although men are affected less since we have thicker skin)
    >moisturizer (just find one that doesn't dry you out or break you out and use it daily)
    >cleanser (wash your face with a facial cleanser)
that's all you need but also
    >tret (literally the only thing i've ever been prescribed in my life because it has a shit laod of science backing up its anti aging properties)
that is all you need the industry is full of snake oil and if you have specific needs there are other serums but you need not more than that ever, 99% of online skincare discussion is by women and if you invade their spaces you see them b***hing about us men having better skin with less care taken, our skin ages better than theirs unironically so you don’t ever have to take their advice to heart unless you’re a woman also

nah, I mean the salycilic acid works like an exfoliant since it gets in ya pores, any kind of scrub just destroys your skin

Rinse with just water in the morning, moisturize (I use Cerave), and USE SUNSCREEN (around 50 spf). At night, rinse with a gentle cleanser (for example, Cetaphil daily cleanser, there’s different versions for different skin types), and moisturize again. If you have acne, talk to a dermatologist. They’ll probably prescribe clindamyacin gel/pads and Trentoin cream.

No. UV rays can travel through walls.

wouldn't you want to use the cleanser after you moisturize? I'm culeless but leaving fatty products on your face to putrify for hours sounds like a bad idea

Filter your water - Minimum drinking water, preferably a home reverse osmosis setup so even shower water is filtered. Flouride can be beneficial for your teeth but flourides in toothpaste so just brush twice a day if you eat sugary foods and it's fine. There's chlorine in water so it can mess with skin if you shower multiple times a day, not to mention other chemicals that could be in it.

Ponds skin cream could be good as well. Scrub face with a washcloth and minimize conditioner used.
