    He did a lot of overcoming isometrics stuff.
    Just saying that it's free cardio and cns training + you get a little pump.
    I'm gonna start doing it. My current routines with the help of a bedsheet is this:
    >isometric push ups
    >isometric cable rows
    >isometric sitting good mornings
    >isometric zercher squat
    >isometric deadlift
    >isometric shrugs
    >isometric hammer curl
    >isometric overhead extension with elbow pointed forward

    I havent stick to it, but the thing I did feel is the exact same fatigue as you do when you get burnt out from the gym. So bruce might've been on to something.
    This doesnt mean anything though, you still need muscle to have a nice amount of strength.
    The benefit I did feel from it is that after a few days your body starts feeling rigid, like you're unvoluntarily putting tension on it, and that might explain what his disciple said, that his muscles were rigid to the touch and whatever else.
    I'm mainly interested in this for it's bone density benefits as well as strength. I think it's a marvelous addition to your training

        Nah you need carbs if you do tons of cardio but to be fair that was decades ago so not everything was known back then
