How weak are regular people?

How weak are regular people? I almost always trained at a strength sports club and even our high schoolers that weren't fat could bench 315. No one looked twice at 4 plates. I moved to a new place and I've seen maybe 2 guys over the past few months do over 315. I have seen 1 500 deadlift. Are most gyms like this?

      yes, and the crazy thing is that the average person doesn't lift weights at all, so they're even weaker than the people you see at your local commercial gym
      the issue with hardcore gyms is that they attract the absolute strongest people in your area
      if you live in a city with a 100,000 population, and there are 50 strong people at your local hardcore gym, including women, you're being exposed to the 0.05% who have taken lifting seriously for years + probably roid + probably have elite genetics
      i know exactly what you mean by "wtf everybody's weak", and although that may be true, what really happened was that you were exposed to the absolute strongest people in your area, and now you have a skewed perspective for strength standards
      it's like an NBA player who spends 99% of his time around basketball players who then goes to the supermarket and says "wtf everybody's so short??", even though he's technically correct when comparing them to the people he sees, his standard is heavily skewed
      or like a porn addict with a 7 inch dick who thinks he's small because he sees 8+ inch dicks in porn that are manipulated to look gigantic, all perspective

    I go to the gym for roughly 9 months now and haven’t even seen more than like 3 guys (all of whom roiders) bench 2pl8

    A fairly big guy will usually bench 1.5pl8

    Not being able to lift 300 doesn't make you weak. 99% of the population couldn't do it. Hell most people can't do a single pushup. Your idea of the average citizen is completely out of whack.
