I am recovering from a near life ending concussion and would just like to ask you guys what would be the best "program" thing to do for the next 6 months to get as fit as possible. (other than killing myself). I've played soccer so my legs are decent but my upper body is nearing Auschwitz tier

Im Italian so don't eat shit other than pasta with anything or drink soda other than water or espresso with a bit of milk.

Thanks

That sucks anon. It’s kind of a tricky question but the answer mostly boils down to sleep as much as possible, do lots and lots of cardio, and most importantly avoid head injuries. I’ve had some pretty bad traumatic brain injuries myself and while I still have problems I can have a normal life now.

Yeah I get blinded pretty easy. The hardest part is being patient. The brain will heal itself but it takes a long time. It might be a few years before you feel totally normal again. I still have depression and mood swings and I still can’t do math anymore kek

Shouldn't you talk about this kind of thing with a doctor, in your case. Next thing you know you pop a blood vessel in your brain from someone here telling you to deadlift 250lbs

They did all the tests and shit, my brain is alright only problem I have is low blood pressure.

They never said anything other than, "get moving, do some cardio"... But I can do cardio but would also like to build muscle or strength, no need to deadlift, I dont have a Tiktok

Nta but last I heard of this 2.5 years ago it was very much an experimental thing that you'd have to buy off some vendors online and that might be quite hard to find, maybe it's changed though.

I can't vouch for this but you may also try stuff like yoga, breathwork and meditation - those can help for a very wide variety of issues and I don't think you can lose much if anything by trying them out.

Hey man, I've been there and shit is gritty for about two years. Other anons have posted great advice but there is one thing unmentioned: the #1 absolute most important thing is to literally just try. That's it.

The issue with trying is often it is unclear how to actually try. What somebody said to me was basically
    >find the simplest possible thing to make something abstract into something concrete
So for example you want an abstract program to get fit, but one concrete thing you can do literally right now is just do 50 push ups then walk for 30 minutes.

Just literally try to do the stupidest possible simple thing you can do RIGHT FRICKING NOW and just build on it. For example I moved a pile of bricks two at a time and I could have engineered some bullshit or used a cart or some shit or hired someone but if you make the dumbest possible thing concrete it's
    >pick up one in each hand and walk
    >don't think, just fricking do it
and before you know it complex things arise in your bruised brain

The reason you posted this is an attempt to make the abstract into the concrete. Literally go to target and buy a shitty soccer ball right now. Get on the ground and give me 50 push ups in however many sets you need. Go outside and jog around the block like some weirdo.

If you do this you'll be out of the weeds in probably 6 months and back to "normal" in a little less than two years.
