If this were true there would be no fat busy parents.
pre portion the meal no sugary beverages, over time my stomach shrunk so much that I couldn't stuff myself with over 1000 calories even if I tried.

cook your meal yourself and count all thr calories you put in it. It's near impossible to be accurate if other people prepare your food and you have no idea what goes into it
Just eat healthier food for your meal. It's impossible to gain weight unless you are eating donuts and other trash.

Me too, I have been starving all day then having a KFC party bucket at 4.50pm every day and I'm still 39lb overweight.
Fasting for weight loss is dumb and you should stop. All you're doing is forcing your body to limit metabolism in order to survive, which means you burn far less calories but also have no energy to fuel non-vital organs like liver and gut resulting in serious issues. Stop trying to have a nice day and work on promoting metabolism instead
