I don't get sore muscles the day after workout. Does this mean I'm not training hard enough?

"workout" is a noun; you mean "work out".

If you're just doing the same workouts over and over won't get as sore, your body gets used to it, you can still progress though.

But more than likely OP is just a gay who is half assing his workouts so what you said is probably good advice

no, I don't do the same workout over and over. I add progression as per my routine's schedule. To be precise, I'm following the r/bodyweightfitness recommended routine, it's mentioned in the sticky. I did get sore muscles after my first workout, then it stopped. Is the routine too easy or what?

Why are you focused on muscle soreness? Are you fricking moronic or what? You know your muscles can get pretty sore curling 2kg dumbbell for 1000 times? Well why dont you do that then? I mean your muscles will be sore? Isnt that your goal? Track your lifts fricking moron. If you are adding more weight and or reps to your sets, you are making gains and progressive overload.

Like, if you can bench 4pl8 and you have double d breasts but you never got sore? Okay? Then what? Frick does it matter?

At first, probably. If you've been lifting for like 6 months or so, soreness tends to be less noticeable. Or if your diet and sleep are really good, that helps too.

I don't get soreness unless I take a 2 week break, and then the soreness goes away again after working that muscle for a week or two. It sucks because DOMS is the ultimate indicator that you worked the muscles you wanted to work, but the non-existence of DOMS makes no difference once you've already gotten it.

Yes. You should be going to failure on your last 2 sets of each movement except maybe squats and deadlifts. If you can do 12 clean reps add weight. You can cheat on the last couple of reps.

If you're just starting out, then you probably aren't training hard enough. If you've been training and you hit each muscle at least twice per week, then it doesn't necessarily mean you aren't training hard enough. If you're gaining muscle mass and/or improving your lifts, then the lack of soreness is a good thing.

beginner gains/pains are real, harder to frick yourself up as you get stronger unless you're lifting so hard your knees start bleeding or you get lightheaded

Muscles you haven't worked in a while will get really sore. Once you work them regularly they wont get as sore. I only get super sore if I work a muscle that I've been skipping.
