>how to fight the intrusive thoughts
The Power of Now
by
Eckhart Tolle
It's on audible and spotify, someone recommended it to me for the same deal, a few months back here. Told me to read it, meditate on it, and put the techniques into practice. I did, and it works.
Thanks I’ll give it a listen.

Isolate from everyone and everything. Sit and let the intrusive thoughts fill your brain. Do nothing and wait. They will disappear after a few months. Don't feed your brain triggers like music, images or videos. Don't talk to people if you don't have to. When the mind is filled to the brim, the thoughts run amok. To empty the mind, you have to first stop feeding it information.
Meditate
Pray
Hike
MDMA
Start writing down your shit it makes it easier to disconnect it as not you and just a previous thought for analysis after this point youll begin to understand what setting you off and be able to deal with it significantly better
Run, the consistent easy pace kind of run that lasts 30-60min. Works very well.

Thanks guys. Hard work is good for the soul. Putting effort and working hard feel good mentally.
my brother you must lift and learn. Listen to audio books idle hands are the devils playthings. you lift not only for your body but your mind as well. you should practice stillness, make time to meditate.
Listen to the Bible and focus on it's truth. Even if you don't believe it's the King James Version of the Bible is a beautiful work of art, regardless.
Idk whether to actually rope or not. I’ve tried to change but I can’t, lifting and trying to be more social hasn’t helped, I’ve never dated or had sex, my areas shit too so it’s not like there’s avenues to even meet people here. Only reason I haven’t is because I’m 20

It's a side effect of depression. Fix that.
I don’t have depression, I just have an addictive personality.
It's depression. Or anxiety. Feel better and intrusive thoughts go away.
I don’t feel depressed over anything but maybe I’m anxious. I have not worked out in almost a week and it’s kinda fricking me up now I think.
then work out right now just do it
I did. Now I feel much better.
Thanks I’ll give it a listen.

You’re still very young. A lot of men go through hard times when they’re that young but it’s possible to surpass it. You’ve got a ways to go still.
