I eat 200g of cooked ground beef every morning (with salt).
Is this healthy? Should I add some fruit to it or something?

>red meat
>sodium
you need to smoke a cigarette to complete the holy trinity of heart disease
sodium is vital for bodily function
and too much sodium causes heart disease, your point?
you just said sodium, you didnt say too much sodium. be clearer you stupid gay
Imagine getting filtered by fricking salt
If you get killed by salt maybe it's a sign that you weren't meant to live.
>imagine getting filtered by tobacco
>imagine getting filtered by crack cocaine
for starters not a schizo mono diet like keto
I like red meat, but just like ice cream or alcohol I know its not healthy and consume it in moderation
every study says it does
inb4 >da joooos
getting filtered by tobacco
getting filtered by crack cocaine
Comparing a vital electrolyte to this is hilariously moronic.
>imagine getting filtered by tobacco
>imagine getting filtered by crack cocaine
Unironically yes.
>every study says it does
no, that's just junk
it's potential a trigger of the uric acid system but sugar is bigger and if you actually drink water it won't do shit
>every study says it does
Only the poorly conducted ones you like
All studies are false, you are a victim of the israelites
>every study says it does
The studies linking heart disease to sodium intake don't take into account potassium intake. One study conducted in Japan showed that the high sodium diet did contribute to high blood pressure. Another study conducted in a neighboring prefecture with the same average sodium intake found that it did not. The difference was that the second study was conducted in a prefecture that produced and consumed a lot of potassium rich fruits.
So yes, OP, add some fruit.
>every study says it does
1. They don't.
2. Even if they did, they're all wrong anyway.
3. Studies aren't gospel and shouldn't be listened to anyway. Just trust your instincts and do whatever you feel is best for you.
4. If a study said the sky is red and reality instead proves that it's blue, then the study is wrong, period! Just like a study saying salt is bad is wrong, as reality proves it is wrong. You are moronic, stop being moronic.
>Just trust your instincts and do whatever you feel is best for you.
okay gonna do a fentanyl diet then
>and too much sodium causes heart disease, your point?
No it doesn't
I guarantee it’s everything else in the environment lmao LITERALLY just drink water
not really. too little potassium gives you heart disease. if you eat lots of sodium but don't balance it with potassium, you'll have problems.
part of the reason the sodium falsehood is perpetuated is that dr's found when they switched people to "low sodium" diets, heart health and blood pressure improved. however, it's wasn't "low sodium" that improved anything; as part of reducing sodium patients end up switching to potassium salt instead (lo salt etc) - potassium lowers blood pressure and thus improves heart health. so it's not the sodium thats inherently bad
I have never heard this but it fascinates me. Lack of potassium is the actual villan in heart health?
So you're saying OP should have a banana with his breakfast?
they say 100% of all people who drink water die too, maybe we should stop drinking water
moron
>nooooo everything I like has to be good for me
you dont need any added sodium to fill your daily needs
>you dont need any added sodium to fill your daily needs
how do you know this? do you watch me eat? gay
assuming a balanced healthy diet of course, since you're a schizo thats obviously too much to ask
>assuming a balanced healthy diet of course,
what does this even mean ? you need to be clearer mr. homosexual
He's probably just a vegan who eats heavily processed söy products.
I'll fill your daily need with some added sodium...
>t. vegan gay
Yes.
>Should I add some fruit to it or something?
It would be a good idea to eat some fruit and veggies with it. Yes.
you should replace it with delicious Quorn mince, a tasty and nutritious mycoprotein based meat substitute
What's it's nutrient profile compared to meat?
It's pure estrogen. Don't even bother.
Quorn first went on sale in UK in 1985, and has since served over 7 billion meals across 20 different countries. Quorn has been approved for sale by some of the world’s leading health agencies, including the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA), Health Canada (HC), European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), UK Food Standards Agency (FSA) and Food Safety Australia New Zealand (FSANZ).
Okay so what's its nutrient profile and the bioavailability of such?
eat it raw
cooking it kills the nutrients incide and turns them into anti-nutrients
this, and make sure not to eat it
do a raw meat enema to confuse the digestive tract
no, you doing good.
>(with salt)
get lite salt (50/50) instead.
but eggs or meat is probably the best breakfast you can eat. quality protein, some fat, plenty of micronutrients, proper insulin/glucagon ratio.
The more meat you eat the longer you live.
Carbs are associated with death so avoid them entirely.
What about the eggs?
It depends on how the rest of your diet is. If this is all the meat you get then it's probably very good for you, but if you already eat a kilo of red meat for dinner then you don't need another 200 grams for break fast.
>current year
>people ON THIS WEBSITE posting RIGHT NOW still unironically think meat and salt are bad for you
have a nice day please
seems fine to me, if not a bit boring. try making meatballs next time
Can I bulk now?
ive been eating 4 lbs of beef a day and close to a stick of butter for two weeks and look the best I ever have. I have been shitting like absolute MAD though
People like to hear good things about their bad habits.
Everyone itt can enjoy their arterial hypertension.
low carb diets unrestricted in red meat lower blood pressure more than DASH diets with less red meat sodium and lots of plants
Apparently studies are valid only when it's convenient to you. Figures.
Enjoy you salt.
most of the rigorous studies show diabetes causes hypertension not salt. low carb fixes it or at least improves it much more than lowering salt
>rigorous studies
I eat 800 g a day
