I started doing calisthenics at home a year ago and this is the result
Its okay but i feel like i'm still really skinny and not really that strong
Do you have any advice ? I cant buy a bench because i dont have enough space or go to the gym but i can buy weight or food. However I would like to stay natty and away from protein powder etc
Shave the body hair and you'll look bigger
Never
Hair are manly
More seriously thats an option but it would only be visual i want to look and be strong
But ill keep that in mind thanks
The two part of the sentence are unrelated it just doesnt sound right to eat powder that doesnt sound "cool" to me
I already put weight in a backpack to do weighted pull up etc
Guess ill just put more then
...
Damn
Its a 6 days a week training
Monday i do push up and dips tuesday its pull up and legs raises and wednesday its pistol squats and other leg thing and i repeat the 3 day cycle
I havent really got into details but thats the idea
I would just tell yo my past self to begin to eat more meat earlier like i started to eat 500 grams of meat everyday since june and it really made a difference
I dont know if it is because of the diet but it worked
If you want more specific advice just ask
Nice routine but I’d also recommend some kind of hip hinge movement like single leg hip thrusts for more posterior chain/lower back cuz pistol squats only do so much
Oh yeah i discovered that when i thought my ass wasnt good enough like 2 month ago and i added it to the leg day
I think that it did a pretty good job for building muscle but for now i just put weight to make it harder (im currently at 30kg just because i havent bought more i could probably go to 40kg) is there any other way to make it more difficult ?
Honestly leg day is the most difficult not because i cant do the exercice bur because i really dont know what to do...
Well if you’re going to stick calisthenics I think you’re pretty much set with pistol squats, single leg hip thrusts and some kind of hiking with a light pack would also be good for calves and overall lower body endurance.
How/where do you dips? Do I need to buy a stand? I have a my room and a small closet, both are crowded.
In france there is a thing where you can study in a school and work to learn and put in practice etc etc
When im in a school period I live in a small appartement near Paris where i set a pull up bar and two ring on my doorframe
My appartement has 2 room so it really is convenient
But when im in a work period i live in a bigger place so i bought a "chaise romaine" that maybe is what you call a stand
Both work fine its just a matter of preference but i would suggest you to try setting up a bar on your closet doorframe because it is much more cheaper
The bar and the ring costed me around 50 or 60€ i think and the huge thing costed 130€ on amazon
Work in a real company im not sure its clear but it really isnt that important
Thats called an "alternance" if somebody want to look on google
Thanks I appreciate all your advice and time you took to write it. The last thing I have to ask is if this routine I'm attempting to follow is any good? I've slacked some days but just want to get habits and some basic fitness down.
I dont know your schedule but honestly if i were you i would do strenght everyday like in the morning and do the cardio something like 3 times a week in the evening
I also feel like your strenght training is too specific i think that you dont target enough muscle group
Also here is a pic of my pull up bar setup its really cheap and it work very well
You look good and this is kind of my goal body tbh.
I think your lower chest is just small.
>I would like to stay natty and away from protein powder
>eating what's left over from making cheese is not natty
average bait
Get a chain belt for hanging weights from your waist, then go on a bulk and you’ll look fine
yeah a gym membership
Can you give me some advice? What is your routine and what is some tips you would tell your past self?
You look better than most posters here.
Looks very good. I think an athletic physique like this is more aesthetic than larger, bulky ones.
Do you have a before picture? Have you been eating above or below your TDEE?
I dont really know how much calories i eat a day
But i eat almost the same thing everyday (just because its simple not really trying to follow a specific diet)
Morning 500ml whole milk in a bowl of oat flakes (i think that its almost 150gr of oats but realy not sure) with some fruit
Lunch 4 egg and rice (maybe 200gr uncooked never really weighted it)
Dinner 250gr of chicken breast and 250 gr of bifteck
I know that my eating habits might sound weird but it is what it is
I estimated the quantities by judging the time it take me to empty a bag or a bottle of the said food so it isnt really accurare
I also snack on fruit and nuts but thats not as regular as the other food
Also i dont have a before picture sorry
And this picture is quite "old" i think i took it 2 month ago
I could take a picture trying to do the same pose once i get home to show the evolution (not a big one but still)
