    What the frick
Literally all you had to do was stick with 1-2lb/month and you'd be doing great. Better luck next time I guess

that pace is so fricking demoralizing though. Makes it not even worth it if you have to lift 5 days a week for just 12 pounds a year.

Better than eternally cutting and bulking the same 40lb with virtually no long-term change.

I'm gaining 3-4 lb/month during my first two months, started skeleton, lifting 4 days a week short training sessions of 15-25 min

Buddy, you gain 1-2lbs of muscle a year with serious nutrition x training x sleep NOT in one month.

            Natty Man Mentzor
His HIT bullshit only works for the very small population of lifters that respond extremely well to low volume, and roiders who can get away with extremely low training frequencies. Even then, it still isn't optimal. Why do you think every high-level bodybuilder, powerlifter, strongman, etc all train normally (aka "high volume" training according to HITgays) instead of using HIT?
better, lifts more and won competitions
Not difficult when you're on enough drugs to kill a horse
            >Powerfats getting maaaad
I train for aesthetics, but sure bro

            >The fat is moving the weights

Bodyfat doesn't move the weight no shit, but it improves your leverages on certain lifts (namely presses and squats) while making them worse on others (deadlift). If you gained 20lb of fat with 0 being muscle you would still get stronger on bench for that reason, but your deadlift would probably go backwards (which is why SHWs tend to squat more than they deadlift, because even though they're objectively stronger than the people in the lighter weightclasses, their deadlift leverages go to shit, resulting in their squat being higher)

uhh how anon? If anything more bodyfat would mean more weight you have to lift, no?

                >ROM reduction on bench, arms compress against lats more at the bottom
                >big ass belly compresses against your thighs on the bottom on squats making it easier to go back up
                >intramuscular fat shit that I cba to explain right now
Again, if you want proof go look at the squat/deadlift of SHWs in powerlifting vs the squat/deadlift of powerlifters in lighter weight classes. You'll see that SHWs generally squat more than they deadlift, meanwhile powerlifters in lighter weight classes generally deadlift more than they squat. Not to mention that bench strength is pretty much the first thing to go when you start cutting, meanwhile deadlift strength doesn't drop nearly as much, if at all

Can't say for sure, but nowhere near as strong compared to if it was all muscle instead. Which is why you should be watching your strength progression during a bulk, since if your strength is going up very slowly, you may not be putting on that much muscle. EG if you gain 20lb but you only put 15-20lb on your bench you probably did things very wrong, but if you put 60lb on your bench instead you probably gained a lot of muscle. Numbers came out of my ass of course but they're just examples

Same. All my lifts have gone up like crazy but I just don't like the way I look anymore. I got a lot stronger, but just look fatter. Will the muscle growth show up when I cut or is it just because "mass moves mass" that I'm lifting better?

      >Will the muscle growth show up when I cut
Probably not, if you're bulking that fast most of it is fat.

You gain muscle without having to bulk.
Lose weight properly (good nutrition z sleep z cardio).

You should be resting for 7-14 days after a serious full body workout (you can split into sections if you want).
I increased my lifts by 20-50% without bulking by doing that (Mike Mentzor / train to Failure).
I think I'm just adapting to and I'm going to hit my peak pretty soon where results are extremely small.

Realistically expect 1-2lbs of muscle a year if you did everything right

Any calories not used for energy and the construction of new muscle tissue are converted directly into fat. For example say you eat 3000 calories, but your body only needs 2500 to operate and to build muscle - that extra 500 just becomes fat.

The key is to find the minimum number of calories you need to build muscle and stick to that. If you have >5% body fat you can even eat at a slight deficit and still gain muscle just fine.

The only point of a bulk is if you have no idea how many calories you need, so you eat extra to be safe. That's fine but you should be dialing back the calories if you're gaining fat until you're steady.
