A dancer doesn't need an amazing face because her movements are beautiful, and so measuring her by her face is missing the point. The man for her is a man whose eyes appreciate motion, not a still image, whose heart is taken by dance. Today we are too focused on how we photograph, and not enough on how we move, which is ironically what's making us ugly and take cheap shortcuts to get vain aesthetics that don't mean anything. In other words we've allowed a single measure to become a target, and it's rotting us from the inside out.

Find a sport or something similar that will give you functional strength, and practice that. Use the gym to supplement what is required for the sport, not for its own sake. Get to the point where the motions of the sport come through in your daily life and you can find uses for them, and use that to push your personality outward so others can see it. Then you'll own your body, not your phone, not your social media, not your gym. YOU will. And then you'll make your own decisions rather than be pressured by people who don't understand they're being crabs in a bucket.
