Do not trust doctors or physical therapists they don't know what the hell they are doing.

      physical therapists or psychotherapist?
Because my physical therapists fixed my leg so I can avoid surgery (and psychotherapist told me to exercise more and go no fap for a month, which in the grand scheme of things isn't such a bad advice and was generally strongly against psychiatric medication)

        Physical therapist.
Only thing that fixed the pain in my knees, hips and back was going barefoot for 1 year.
But those charlatans kept have me do planks, or one leg glute bridges every time

really? I had complications from spiral fibia fracture, that ended up becoming semi-permanent painful muscle spasm. Orthopedist claimed it is something with my spine and wanted to do an "exploratory surgery". Couple of sessions of physio and he was able to relive the painful muscle and I am now basically pain free (except if try to do something moronic like running down a scree or riding my sport bike for too long)

In our country physical therapy is one of hardest university to get in, just behind dentistry (you have to have better grades than for medical or law school and engineering schools take basically whomever). Also we don't do diversity. Perk of living in 97+% white country.

Never go to a physical therapist the chances that you get a good one that understand the goal is to get back to doing what the body is capable and not what an exercise that has no use outside of physical therapy are slim at best

fell for the psychiatrist pill meme for eight years. made me more depressed, more anxious, and uglier. worst part is that once you're on them for a while it's pretty hard to stop. currently on a slow taper off now. I've made plenty of dumb mistakes in my life and this is somehow the worst by far. do NOT fall for the "chemical imbalance" meme. just lift and do cardio.

the chemical imbalance meme has long been discredited. do they still push that?

Because SSRIs still work on 2/3 of depressed people anyway. It's the first thing they try. If you're the unlucky 1/3, you're good for electroshocks and other delicacies.

they banned good medication that works like cannabis or cocaine or opium. buttholes. ssri just make yiu not feel. rhey are shit.

they don't "work" by fixing a chemical imbalance. they "work" by suppressing your emotions.

bullshit. gained 10kg eating almost nothing but the brain pills when they locked me up. couldn't go below 85kg for years until i spent two weeks in finnland chopping wood all day and eating deer.

Pimozide is an antipsychotic. And to be clear I wasn't suggesting that an antipsychotic magically makes you gain weight. Rather I was suggesting that you're literally schizophrenic and are detached from reality. Thank you for confirmation.

they alter your hormones. like steroids do. its just that ssris do it in the reverse direction

There are limits to what hormonal imbalances can do, and perpetual weight retention irrespective of cut is not one of them.

NTA but my SSRI made me put on 5 kg by messing with the kind of food I was hungry for (read: food that didn't make me nauseous af). I had already fasted before so I tried that and lost the internal fat I used to lose, not the newly aquired superficial kind.

Psychiatry is a newbie field, it's still all pretty much just groping around in the dark. Only go if you're completely fricked and have exhausted all other possible solutions, maybe schizomaxx with heroic doses of psychedelics first.

Should have went to a psychologist instead of a psychiatrist.
