I don't train abs at all but they are developed enough from heavy lifting to show through like 15%bf. People accuse me of training abs and I don't because of this.

ye those are cool. gotta make sure your form's solid though or else you'll just be kinking your back or using hip flexors. for me, it's decline sit-ups and chin-up holds where you kneeraise at the top. used to do dragon flags but your elbows really need to be strong to maintain the ridiculous amount of torque
Do hanging leg raises, even if you don't care about abs they'll give you a mighty forearm pump and some grip gains, and possibly some spine decompression if you believe in that.
I love training abs. I do just a few minutes of them at the end of every workout. Some combination of:
>Crunches while holding a 25lb plate >Crunches with alternating legs- like bicycles but not with elbows >Mountain climbers >Feet on swiss ball, hands on floor, bring knees to chest and back again. >Feet on swiss ball, hands on floor, do pikes >Hanging leg raises, either on Roman chair or from pull up bar, either straight ahead or side to side >Oblique twists with 15- or 20-pound bar
Do maybe five or ten minutes at the END of your workout. Your abs should already be tired from your workout so this will just squeeze out the last bit of strength you have and really make your abs pop. Mine were very pumped and visible today as I was leaving the gym

this is what i do plus 5x10 with an ab roller. i'm not 15% bf yet though but you can see them when i flex.

Thanks for ideas. I am trying to get the technique right and increase the volume slowly. No rush since I never done any direct ab work till now.
jus find the one you like and it'll only take 2 sets to failure. abs should be fun. statics suck ass tho

i hated training abs. so i started doing it 4 times a week. now i kinda like it. just like running.

weighted situps, standing/sitting/leg raised russian twists with a dumbbell, woodchops, side bends, planks, side planks, ab roller, leg raises
