I have a pectus excavatum, a deformed ribcage essentially. It's doesn't affect my health in any way I can tell other than making my body look weird. I was told that working pecs could help cover it up but I've been working pecs for a few months now and they're just starting to look like tits. They have this weird kinda hanging feature. Will it get better as I keep going or am I just doomed?

      pectus is just an excuse to be lazy
      every time i see someone on here whining about it they have 0 muscle mass and a very mild case of it and they try to claim they look like shit because of their bones instead of accepting the fact that theyve been extremely lazy with their training

      I can't even tell, you must have it mild. But really, you barely look as though you work out. You need to go a lot further and the access it. Right now you just look chubby/out of shape.

            If this was at all true corsets would not have been as effective as they were. The deformed skeletons of Victorian women have been found as a result of consistent binding. They could achieve some ridiculous proportions, a process that could take years but one that didn't begin at childhood.

                Are you stupid or was I just not being clear? Corsest are terrible yes but the point is they can be used to reshape or in this case, correct an issue like flared ribs. Obviously it would be stupid to bind to the point of reshaping the entire ribcage but adjusting the position of a few out of line problem ribs is entirely possible. Only an idiot would pay some shekelburg thousands of dollars for surgery.

    Oh my fucking goodness, is this what it's called?! I've been slim my whole life but my upper ab area bulges out and makes it look like I have a big gut mid-torso. My pecs have always been defined yet the bulge sticks out further making my proportions look off.
