I've had this for over a month now. I have zero appetite and have lost 6 kg over the past month. I also have constipation
I did a gastroscopy_colonoscopy and it didn't show anything. What should I do next?

Say goodbye to your kidneys
how would you know if it's a kidney problem? my ultrasound shows nothing. tbh, i hope it's just a kidney problem. I'm thinking it's probably brain cancer or MS
Here's a long term and short term fix:
Short term fix: Get aloe vera, marshmallow root, ginger, and cilantro asap.
> "The Aloe leaves are good for chronic, stubborn constipation. They stimulate bile flow and digestion and can be useful for poor appetite."
>"Aloe Powder: Use 100–500 mg of powder per dose or in capsules as a purgative for stubborn constipation and to stimulate bile flow. Tincture: Use 1–3 ml of a standard tincture per dose as an appetite stimulant or for constipation. The taste is unpleasant."
5g of marshmallow root in 100 ml hot water for a tea, will soothe the lining of your intestines.
Ginger will help with nausea and mixed with parsley or cilantro will stop it from causing a burning feeling.
Long term fix:
Change your diet. Simple carbs, bone broth which is easy on the stomach, lots of probiotics. Foods that say on the label they have probiotics will have a billion more probiotics than any pill.
Cut out all processed foods, GMO foods, corn, and anything with wheat, peppers and tomatoes with seeds and the skin on. All of those foods inflame and irritate the intestines. The last thing your gut needs right now.
Thanks fren. Should I buy any aloe vera supplement from health store? bottle liquid version is fine?
Are foods with probiotics better than the probiotic pills? I thought yoghurt probiotics were bad?
I tried ginger but it didn't do a whole lot. I think it worked only once by fluke. Didn't mix it with clinatro though.
as far as diagnosis goes, do you know could be the underlying cause for this?
Nausea is a symptom for practically every medical condition under the sun unfortunately.
See a doctor?
ive seen two, not much help tbh. I'm left in the dark
stop consuming whey protein and excess greasy foods. you probably have gastritis. do you drink and most importantly did you taje the jabbie?
my endoscopy didn't show gastritis. although biopsy isn't complete . I don't drink or eat greasy or whey protein
ok but did you take the jabbie?
Stop eating for ten days and kill everything inside of your bowels. Then when you refeed eat only good shit and probiotics. That’s assuming it’s your bowels though. Did you hit your head in the last month?
I didn't my head in the last month but why would my head cause gastrointestinal problems?
What kind of probiotic should I take?florastor? or the yoghurt ones?
Doesn’t matter that much. Google good probiotics and choose some you enjoy. Some head injuries can cause terrible Nausia which causes the other symptoms in the reverse order.
do you really mean not to eat anything for 10 days straight? Or do you just mean eat less?
wouldn't that mess me up?
Have you been stressed lately?
yes but I've been stressed for years. can stress really cause symptoms this severe as constant nausea and constipation as well as weird stools?
Do you remember if you were still naseous when preparing for the colonoscopy?
If not it might be your bowels being overful with poop causing the problem.
Have them check your TSH
good news is bad shit has been mostly ruled out, bad news its that then it might be IBS and/or stress which can be more difficult to get to the bottom of
Hey. I was not nauseous during the colonoscopy prep actually. I was nauseous a month ago and then really nauseous recently (one week after colonscopy.
My TSH is 5.0, which is high. Do you think hashimotos/hypothyroidism can cause this?
>good news is bad shit
I hope it's not brain or pancreatic cancer.
>My TSH is 5.0, which is high. Do you think hashimotos/hypothyroidism can cause this?
ask ur doc moron
hey anon, can you get back to me on this. I'm curious to know your explanation on TSH and why overful bowels might be causing the nausea.
I also had a cup of coffee twice after the colonscopy but still haven't drank it most days. Maybe that had a factor
I'm asking anon why be brought up the link between TSH and gut
Sorry bro, did you take Ozympic?
Joking aside, the medical system is shit. I fricking hate it. You go your whole life putting these people on a pedestal, they did all this school.. they must be amazing.
In reality those rock stars are only going to help you if you're rich as frick. Until you get to that point, it's tedious trial and error, and testing.
And of course in that process they could be missing stuff.
Change diet. See an allergist. See a gastrointestinal doctor.
what kind of allergy test? I did the skin test and it didn't show much
Alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, weed, bad sleep, anxiety all make me eat less. Weed in particular, that shit is poison for the GI tract.
I don't do any of those. I have anxiety and bad sleep but it's largely because of my gut
You've probably already heard this but anxiety often manifests as pains, you might not even feel particularly stressed and this can happen. Some people get backpain, aches, etc, but me personally it's always been my stomach. Not trying to steer you the wrong way, could be the development of an illness, but to me it sounds like stress being diverted from the brain to the stomach. Assuming it were stress, it will improve if you do literally anything to improve your situation in life, new job, new relationship, new good habit, some form of therapy, anything. In the meantime, focus on finding foods you can eat while nauseous, mass gainer shakes are one of my go-tos, as are scrambled eggs and toast. Again I'm speaking purely from my own very limited experience, might be the onset of some disease, but I think the anxiety angle merits looking into. good luck with your stomach, I hope you feel better soon anon.
Thank you fren.
I definitely think anxiety is possible a factor in causing me to become this way. Not sure how diseased I am this point. I've heard people with chronic gut problems say that psychology played a big role for them.
Glad to help, stomach pain and the associated starvation are awful feelings, especially when you don't know why. One time I got tested for h. pylori, thinking maybe I had an ulcer, but it came back negative and the frustration brought me to tears. My biggest breakthrough was addressing my drug use. The drugs themselves made it harder to eat but it was the lifestyle of guilt and shame that really did it. I'm going through some shit now and it's bad again but even now it's more manageable, I just try to load up on the foods I know I can handle. There will be greener pastures ahead.
Might be anxiety/stress/slight depression.
If your doctor said you are ok, you are ok. Don't think about bad things. Try to eat good, good carbos help with nausea and see aa psychiatric maybe, he would prescribe things like levosulpiride that calm your gut's nerves. If the nausea stop, is 99% anxiety.
>If the nausea stop, is 99% anxiety.
But doesn't the drug act on the gut as well?
Theres def a psychological link but even when I try to get myself to relax, I rebound after a bad sleep where I wake up with my gut irritated
you have cancer, anon. not even memeing
