I do drink both, though. Often when I goto the store, they don't have pepsi zero sugar, and diet pepsi is ok, but doesn't taste as good.
And then recently the pricing has been wonky w pepsi being $1 more per 12 pack, and I'm a cheapskate.

It's not intellectually honest to say that because we have different reward system. I have the same problem as OP and I feel stimulated by Coca-Cola in a way no other food or drink does so it isn't even the sugar and caffeine in particular. I don't even like other sugary food. Green tea / sencha does taste sweet but makes me sleepy. I have no other addictions.
