I do too anon. >eat 80g for breakfast >eat another 80g for lunch >tempted to eat another 80g for dinner due to convenience, but stop myself and indulge in potatoes or their sweet orange cousins instead
I could literally eat 1/2lb of oatmeal a day if I don't watch myself
What kind of negatives are there really? Complex, slow digesting carb source, with decent fiber, decent ~~*plant protein*~~, and keeps you satieted for hours. Literally zero negatives. If one preps them the night before (2% milk soak overnight), theyre literally the most convenient carb breakfast source out there, beating cereals and bagels. Frick, I love oatmeal, and Im not ashamed to say it
i disagree on the satiation part, its not very filling, neither is rice.
which is a plus imo
i prefer maize meal porridge over oats but oats r gud, most ppl havent had maize meal porridge
>maize meal porridge
1/4 the fiber and nutrients as oats.
Idk man, oats in milk with a tbsp of peanutbutter + a protein shake will keep me from feeling hunger for 4+ hours
Christ is king.
How are you even supposed to eat this shit with all the phytic acid it has? And no, I won't soak them overnight with buckwheat or whatever. Thats all soggy and gross
>take huge mason jar >fill 1/3 with oats >another 1/3 with water >leave the remaining 1/3 with air >leave standing at room temperature for 1 week >open the lid every day to let gasses escape
Congrats, you now have perfectly fermented oats where all the phytic acid and fiber that can possible harm your gut have been broken down by our amazing lactobacillus friends.
Do you do your squats afterwards? Either way, oats are tasty and have a wonderful texture.
enjoy your godly shits and full stomach
