Yes you do. That backyard looks comfy anon I hope you enjoy it this summer

Nice yard. 10/10 would blow smoke rings or dragons from a pipe
Why would you assume that you’re the only anon with a backyard? Did you really think you were the only one? That’s looks like a really nice space though, if it’s really yours. I hope you enjoy it this summer,
how do I go from dirt to having a backyard like this without being israeliteed into paying another mortgage to a landscaping company?
Do it yourself. It's still going to cost you multiple thousand, but thats less than 20k a contractor will charge you.
>dig everything up >till the ground >lay gravel, sand, and brick >build a wall >lay more gravel more sand and place pavers >rubber edge some garden beds >rubber edge out more areas for later >lay sod on the rest of the open space >plant things in your garden >plant trees
Done
You can have a backyard like OP for less than 2000 and make a bunch of gains doing it
this. If you want to maybe save some money in the long term, start growing trees from seed right now. 5 year saplings go for $50-$300 depending on the species. OP's Japanese maple was easily $200 at least. Don't be like OP and get all clean manufactured stuff though Get some natural stone so you don't look like a cookie cutter suburbanite boomer.
The hard part is if you have existing junk landscaping to tear out. It's a pain in the ass to do by hand so if you can stomach the cost, have someone with a backhoe come and rip it all down to bare dirt and atart over fresh. Make sure you call JULIE first.

>stuck living at home at late 20s >state too expensive to move out >really want own house, even better some land like multiple acres (10 would make me happy tbh) >can’t afford it never will, can’t even afford a crappy apartment to all my own >stuck spending time inside stowed away in my crappy childhood bedroom depression growing to levels never thought possible
I like living vicariously through you guys though please keep posting yards it gives me motivation that I’ll do it some day. I just want the comfort of my own place, to be able to sit outside in my yard without being watched without parents bothering or staring at me or neighbors, the comfort of being able to leave my room for that too tbqh
How? Unless I stayed for 20 years there’s no pension and only benefits are GI bill and shit maybe some healthcare and I don’t want to go to school anyways. It’s not too late for the army but it genuinely doesn’t seem like a worthwhile investment for someone like me.
And I’ve been contemplating it since I’m so lost atm. But I doubt I’d make it there my parents fricked me up and made me a struggling to function normally adult. Not for a second shifting responsibility to handle my shit on anyone else, but if I elaborated on that you would understand exactly what I mean. Like, they messed me up enough I had a panic attack watching a boot camp video.
>50k signing bonus >4 years training >30k salary x 4 years >GI bill = free school >military+degree = free job
With only 4 years of service you'd have 200k in cash, free schooling, and first in line at any job you want.
Of course, you're too far gone for it so pass the advice along. I know plenty of guys who were poor and unmotivated, did basic training got out and now they live much better lives
I do know a bunch of terminal losers who did their stint in the army and then kept on doing nothing and blew their money right away, so its not really a guarantee of anything. Odds are if you were going to succeed after the army, you wouldve also done well without it, but theres a very specific subset that is the responsable type of people with horrible family environments that do great there.
tldr if you have a shit poor family that make horrible choices around you all the time army is for you

But at least their fate was in their hands. They chose to do nothing, unlike some anons who are just to poor to continue education or who need a kick in the butt to get the ball rolling.
Compared to being a NEET for 4 years? Or working minimum wage? I'm not saying everyone should do it, just people who are unmotivated or too poor for college
>recruitment crisis so bad military resorts to posting on basket forum to dupe anon into joining
The military is underrated. At my engineering university we had rotc, they got paid to go to school on the agreement that they do 2 years as an officer after graduating.
Because people who matter live in cities? Near sports and entertainment, great restaurants and job opportunities.
Tired of people pretending tickets to the opera are on par with “omg I saw a cardinal on my daily walk around my house, so beautiful, living my best life!!!1”
Only homosexuals and morons need constant stimulation from others at sports games and "opera." Self-respecting people have constructive hobbies like woodworking or blacksmithing or gardening which citycucks can't possibly conceive of doing in their gay little apartments.
Simply beautiful. I would love to sit on that patio during a sunny, breezy day. My only critic is I would like some colorful flower bushes to break up the green.
very nice. it still looks like pic rel in finland.
its honestly so fricking depressing when 7 months out of 12 are pure suicide fuel its just... i dont know, i just sometimes wonder if this is really all that life has to offer. it just doesnt make sense.
hose ruins the serenity of the scene

but anon you live in your parents' suburban house
I don't actually but ok

Should of joined the army. 4 years of zog training and you'd be set for life with multiple discounts

i wish i had that much space at my backyard
just bought a 2bd 2br condo for 550k why do i live in a city again?
Because people who matter live in cities? Near sports and entertainment, great restaurants and job opportunities.
Tired of people pretending tickets to the opera are on par with “omg I saw a cardinal on my daily walk around my house, so beautiful, living my best life!!!1”
But anon, the opera is boring, and I genuinely would rather see pretty birds while relaxing on pretty plot of land
what kind of a cuck watches live sports or "entertainment"? I can entertain myself, I can make food myself, and I work remotely for >100k/yr.
Real men watch sports.
only betas say memeshit like this, kek you are a beta homosexual!
it's cause my people are here. if i had the right woman i'd leave. thought i did for a minute there...
yeah it's the life

You sound like a total pleb. Woodworking lol. That’s not a hobby, that’s a job you do for free.
you don't like woodworking, little guy?
>that couch

LEAVE MY COUCH ALONE
>opera, sports, restaurants
completely boring bullshit the only reason to live in a city is because there are more women there
>LE I JUST LOVE THE HUSTLE AND BUSTLE OF BIG CITIES
Kys

Beautiful yard, anon.
Simply beautiful. I would love to sit on that patio during a sunny, breezy day. My only critic is I would like some colorful flower bushes to break up the green.
