    If you're doing this just for a look you will fail, that motivation is flakey and won't help you 4 weeks in when you want a break
    Do this for yourself, your organs bones and muscles will thank you.
    And you're not "starving" you're using the stored energy your body has accumulated. Ride the hunger waves and you'll find you stop being so hungry after little time.
    Lastly keep yourself busy with something, being obese means you probably consider food more often than not an activity, curve this and do something productive, clean your room, workout, pickup a trade skill etc.

    Femanon here currently in the mid phase of going from obese to scrawny. Heres my advice:
    DO NOT COMPLETELY STARVE YOURSELF. You will feel slow and weak, unable to move around. Cut your calorie intake to 900-1375 depending on your weight. Your period will stop and your organs will hurt sometimes, but you'll be fine for the most part.
    Also do intermittent fasting. Eat at 9 am for example, and cut it off at 6 pm. The long periods without food will decrease your appetite just like it did to mine.
    You don't have to exercise but it will kind of speed up the weight loss process. It doesn't have to be intense, just move your ass.

        That's too little. Take the other femanon's advice and consume a little more but pair it with exercise to push your body into growth mode. And of course eat good food, not some industrial product out of a box. Be fit, not famished.
        You can do it, you've already proved you have the mental commitment required.

            If you say so, but figure out how to put exercise at the center of your life rather than only limiting intake. Deciding that exercise is something you do and will do for the rest of your life rather than in pursuit of some goal can be a game changer.

    Dumbass Black person. If you suddenly just stop eating you will be too weak to walk after a couple of days. If you want to lose a lot of weight and stay functional you should eat the bare minimum and most of it should be protein.

    Imma hijack this thread.
    I’m 6‘7“ 392lbs. I was down to 220lbs a couple of years ago by doing keto, but I still felt like shit so I started eating chocolate like a madman.
    What a horrible mistake. I hate myself so much for doing that. Now, keto doesn’t seem to work nearly as good as it did 10 years ago. I feel like I’m stuck with my weight no matter what I try
