    >no distractions

Home gym users often have way more distractions, it's one of the primary complaints.
Though I do want to have my own kickass home gym one day as I prefer solitude.

I prefer lifting at a gym
    >gym qts
    >mindset changes when I lravr the house and go to *place* for the sole purpose of doing *thing*
    >find it motivating to be surrounded by people working hard to improve themselves
    >gym qts
    >sauna
    >insane variety of equipment
    >friendly faces i see again and again
    >gym qts

The reasoning ends at this for me. Qts or gtfo.

      >People working hard to improve themselves
Idk what gym you've been too but all I ever see are gym bro morons that spend 80% of their time staring at themselves in the mirror and talking. For everyone 1 person actually working out there's 15 morons that are there for a socializing event.

    >can workout naked
    >can slam weights without homosexuals being offended
    >can make whatever noises you want
    >hog all the equipment if you feel like it
    >can customize your home gym with specialized equipment a commercial gym wouldn't buy
    >complete control of the audio so you don't have to listen to the earrape that is commercial gym music
    >able to hang up any pictures you want on the walls, even if they're softcore porn level or very violent
    >can take as long a rest period as you want without people staring at you for being in the power rack for the 10th set in a row
    And many, MANY more positives

Yup it’s a wonderful thing. I got a few swastikas along with four pictures of Amy Andersens ass hole, I’m in bed right now but if this thread is still up I’ll post some pictures tomorrow

I go to the gym to record girls wearing tights. It helps pay for my numbership

I spent $3000 on my garage gym and it was the best thing yet. I don’t wait for anything and I work out completely naked and get to admire my entire body while lifting.

I love my home gym but I also like going to public guns when I travel. I'm a competitive person and having witnesses gives me that edge to make that final rep when I might otherwise fail. I also get to use equipment I don't have at home.

There are pros and cons of both.

Google says women primarily wear them for self-confidence, so do they go to the gym to get oggled? THEY'RE KILLING MY GAINS.

Yes women want you to fail. The only one you should be lifting for is yourself and Christ

Not to get ogled but to imagine they are getting ogled
They want the idea not the actual act

In an ideal world I would have enough home space and equipment to do a full workout at home. As it stands, I'm a member of a gym chain that lets me use any of its locations. There's one literally just outside my office and another a short walk from m6 home. It works for me. I occasionally have to wait or go do another part of my workout while someone hogs a machine, but it's nbd

Are American gyms really like this? In my gym basically no one speaks to each other unless they knew each other beforehand

Some people are really sociable, but generally you can avoid human interaction by just having headphones on.

the gym is where i go to lift and socialise. If I dont go to the gym I would literally talk to no one outside of work.

When I got threatened to have to leave the gym for "slamming" a 400 pound dead lift is about the time I took the home gym pill.

Good points but I like both.
When I am rushed and don't have time to drive to the gym I will workout in my home gym.
But on a day off where I have time I love going to a gym.
Its the ultimate people watching experience.
Very fun to observe insecure puffed up normies & attention seeking prostitutes working out in booty shorts and a baseball cap to make them seem inconspicuous despite having their vegana and butthole out on display.
It's literally a human zoo and for that I enjoy it.

I enjoy my home gym because it’s also fun to add stuff to it. Recently added another half rack so I can workout with my wife instead of us working out at different times.

I've been a regular at maybe 4 or 5 gyms since high school and the only people who ever spoke to me were people I knew already from somewhere else.

    Dont forget the music.

If you build a pretty decent homegym you can blast the music you want and not the homosexual garbage that sounds on commercial gyms
