I struggle with my grip when doing stiff-legged deadlifts. My fingers get exhausted (through my forearms) and the fingers can also get crushed by the pressure of the bar on the first section of the fingers depending on the exact grip that I have. What can I do to alleviate both these issues? I feel like I'm not getting much out of the lift because I'm not lifting heavy enough, but I can't go any heavier due to my grip issues.
straps
Hook grip. Mixed grip. Chalk. Straps.
I have weak grip but it was way worse 10 months ago and it turned out i had low vitamin D.
Solving that helped my grip a lot. I don't know if it was the cause but there you go
>10 months ago my grip was bad
>Now its good because of vitamin D
>No it has nothing to do with consistently training
are you actually this stupid or what?
I was always training, you Black person, my grip got worse and worse and only improved after vitamin D was solved.
Imagine if she began pissing herself haha.
I switched to mixed grip when I got to 2pl8. It helps a lot.
I'm a bit over 2pl8 and just switched to mixed grip. It's actually a cheat code
until you tear your bicep and have to get surgery and do 9 months of physical therapy and your bicep still looks like a mutilated peice of shit at the end because your surgeon was a hack.
Nah I don't egolift/use bad form
You dont have to lift with bad form to get an injury. All it takes is 1 second where you are fatiguing and just trying to push out that last rep.
Also anyone who says they lift with 100% good form are a bunch of dyels. All serious lifters know form breaking down during a set is inevitable when progressing
How are you gripping the bar?
Like picrel?
Are you training your grip?
>fingers can also get crushed by the pressure of the bar
>I'm not lifting heavy enough
This sounds like you just have weak, delicate hands in general. Do grip work or bouldering or something.
Mixed grip or train grip strength AND FOREARMS unironically with pic related if your gym has it.

Your forearm flexors are the rate limiter.
Therefore you should train them specifically.
Try not to overdo it as they are easily injured.
Do you train your forearms?
Do you train your fingers?
What grip do you use?
Are you willing to train the assisting/stabilizing muscles?
just learn to hookgrip. takes like 3 times of trying before it's tolerable. at least that's how it was for me.
>try it. this is horrible and my grip feels weaker. give up and go back to straps.
>try it a few weeks later. same thing
>try it a month later. feels good and strong.
i always work up to as heavy as I can regular DOH no-hook though.
ayo homie are you around
show me your thumbs
do you tape them
>spine surgeons love him, learn how with this one simple trick!
dyel moron
lower back is straight, you literally cant pull over 6 plates with a straight uper back
>lower back is straight
>literally first rep
what are you blind?
you should be able to double overhand (no hook) at least 440. if you cant then your grip is fricking lacking. stop being lazy. train your grip, hold heavy things
