I switched from planet fitness to LA Fitness. Everyone always shits on planet fitness so I thought it would be a big upgrade, but it seems that no one at LA fitness never wipes anything down, and some of the equipment is questionable... Like I had to try 5 bikes yesterday before one worked, because a lot of the seats didn't lock in place. Also, they barely have any cable stacks for some reason? And it seems like they only have one rope attachment lol

LA Fitness worst gym I’ve been to when I visited a friend’s. Packed as hell, two squat racks for 200+ people, EVERY rowing machine was broken, all leg machines were full except one that was broken. Utter garbage.

the most expensive gym in an area in a shithole i used to live in had a problem with indians, one was caught shaving chest hair in the sink. some teens acting like shitheads. most being proudy and no comprimise.

PF is great. the one near me is super crowded so I only go in the afternoon or super late. suprised to see so many bros and cute girls lifting. there are lots of dyels taking up space tho.

I was stupid enough to join an LA fitness sight unseen. I rembered they had a pool and I really wanted to swim for cardio. They were having a new member deal so I went ahead and joined. Their pool only had three lanes. If I wanted to swim after work which was the most convenient time; I had to contend with

i got a free membership for 4 years there while going to school in calfornia. it was nice, had a pool, and lots of fake titty bimbo types. idk about in other states i lift at home now

I honestly never understood the rule that you have to wipe down every piece of equipment after use.. most people just do a few moronic swipes.. it can’t be cleaning that much. At my gym the staff wipe down and reset everything overnight, do other gyms just rely on patrons doing it? Obviously if I’m sweating a bunch I’ll clean the seat, and I always re-rack/reset weights. but I’m def not wiping down a thread mill I warmed up on.
