My post is literally based on experience. I'm fit and basically attractive, but no closer to being able to form even basic human connections than I ever was. Telling anyone otherwise, most people, will have them solving the wrong problems in the hope that it will get rid of their real one.
I successfully worked on several issues in my life and after fixing them I became more confident in myself and more optimistic which resulted in be becoming more social.
I thought it would work that way, but it did not. Instead I just degenerated and dug the pit even deeper. In my case most of my problems were, realistically basically unsolveable however, so yes, I may be overextending the model here.

I was forced out of the world and stripped of my humanity (what little I genuinely had to begin with), and now at 28 I watch the world like an outsider, can't relate with other people, and it's become quite obvious I'm not getting any younger. If I cannot find a way, I don't intend to ever be looking back on my 30's. So I don't think about it, because if I take control of the "script" of my life it's always going to be a fight against self destruction.
