        This guy has got it. Dude, you are in such bad shape that you should prioritize getting rid of the fat over gains. In your current state I'm more worried you're in danger of diabetes and sleep apnea than being unable to carry the groceries indoors (of which no doubt you carry a lot).           1500 calories a day, yes. But you can just do 20 minutes of running a day, it doesn't need to be an hour. That's what I did to lose all the weight. You still want to retain muscle by lifting, but callisthenics are good enough: Push ups, sit ups, pull ups, and bodyweight squats. Doing those fast are also a form of cardio. But you should mainly be running for 20 minutes straight.

          Just keep doing this until you can look in the mirror without vomiting - THEN you can start bulking.

    Don't worry about it. It's really easy to get gains back if you ever lose them. And you won't lose much if you keep lifting while cutting.
