I used minoxidil for about 8 months and it aged the fucking shit out of my face.

I used minoxidil for about 8 months and it aged the fricking shit out of my face. I'm 30 and used to get guessed around 22, now recently people think I'm in my late 30's. Shit is fricked. My skin quality in my face has just tanked. Notable looseness/sag at mouth corners, on my jawline, and just more pallid looking skin. My eyes have legit pronounced crow's feet now. Anyone who says the fact that minoxidil inhibits collagen production doesn't mean it can age your skin can get fricked.

And, worse yet, even while taking min my hairline burned back another NW level from a 1.5/2.5 to a 2/3 left to right for a shitty uneven fricked up shit. It's depressing looking at the lines on my face that have shown up now combined with my shitty hairline.

All I can hope is that at least if I've stopped the oral min then my face skin will come back a bit without the minox inhibiting the collagen. But it's been months and months and I still look old and haggard. I also have angina.

Anyone who says hair loss drugs don't frick you up is one of the lucky ones, a pharma shill, or a liar.

haha sucks to be you, dutasteride made my skin slightly nicer and reversed about 80% of my hairloss (i think, very roughly).

Uh bro...that skin effect...it's usually caused by raised Estrogen levels. I'd unironically get a blood test just to be sure, that shit can cause gyno long term.

Can you give a rundown of how things went for you from when you started dutasteride, to now? I switched to dutasteride in early October after eleven months of finasteride, and so far it's just been heavy shedding; I'm talking ~250+ hairs in the shower per day. I know shedding is a part of taking a 5AR inhibitor, but I'm still concerned.

You're using oral minox. Don't do that. Never had problems using it on scalp and I've been using it for 6 years now.

Me too, minox was one of the best recommendation I had from the internet since I started browsing. Literraly changed my face and my looks.
I haven't grown a full full beard tho since I had nothing but a goatee before minoxidil. I'm wondering if I should start a new cycle to make it fuller.

Literally no differences in concentration on your blood after a couple months, when it reaches an effective concentration

The NW change is too real. It made me shed in areas I wasn't even trying to apply to and now it's gonna be until New Years before the hair cycle grows them back. Fricking meme shit.

You're supposed to put it on your scalp and not your face.

You copy and pasted this from my post OP.

I stopped using oral min and I'm looking better again, using only topical.
