I was 230, lost it down to 212.

I was 230, lost it down to 212. This took months of fasting and daily workouts and two weeks of not eating out of depression. Well this month I stopped. And in two weeks I gained 16 lbs. Two weeks. Wtf

diets/fasting are a meme, of course once you go back to eating normally you just put the weight back on.

Either you control your portions and what you eat as just another daily routine and part of life, or you forever do this bullshit of not eating on odd days.

      >eating normally
      >implying eating like a piggy is in any way normal

Dieting is important because it builds healthy eating habits. Piggies ignore this and pretend it’s temporary, then wonder why they regain the weight when they stop.

It’s also why doctors can’t prescribe weight loss surgery without diets first, you’ll get the weight back and have surgery again (obviously not a good thing for the human body).

I have been sick for years and this is the first time I'm not sick and have an appetite. I think it has to do with these fattening Starbucks drinks I've been buying now.

I maintained my weight by not drinking my calories. I no longer track calories.

Just because you're a disgusting low iq homosexual who binges on cookies cake and who knows what else doesn't mean that fasting isn't healthy also I'd guess you're a disinformation agent

Reminds me of the people that appear on My 600 lb life, fail to lose the weight and make a bunch of excuses. Many such cases.
    >in two weeks I gained 16 lbs.
No diet can cure your obsession with food.

    Classic eating disorder behavior

You didn't learn anything from fasting you didn't meditate or talk to someone about why you over eat.

    grim!

hey, I do low calorie/fasting bouts often and you should know that probably about ~5-8 pounds are just because your stomach and intestines are full of food again. 16 pounds is rough but if you're slamming pizza or something I can understand.

The silver bullet in this case is setting routines. I found that without a plan for what I'm going to eat then the only other option was something local or uber eats which is all shit. When I'm not fasting I usually have a weeks worth of overnight oats in jars prepared a weeks worth of chicken brined and vegetables chopped and ready to throw into the oven. Do with that info what you will but if you come off a fast with no plan then you're usually always going to be fricked.

    Best of luck

This is my greatest fear. I’m doing an extended fast and I’m afraid I’ll gain the weight back once I eat anything at all.

Learn to cook, eat whole foods, ground beef, eggs, Greek yoghurt/Skyr with blueberries, sometimes beef liver for vitamins. (mix it with ground beef)
Eat chicken sometimes, rarely pork, stick with the beef.
    Only cook with tallow/clarified butter/olive oil/coconut oil
Never eat breakfast, it was John *KELLOG* who said it's important. Fast 16 hours/day, live more like your ancestors from the past who had no refrigerator and hunted mammuts on an empty stomach.

    (brisk) WALK 10k steps/day.

    A boring diet/meal is a good one.

Life has more exciting things to offer than food once your ripped and healthy, make that your new philosophy and look at it from a whole new perspective. When you're on your deathbed do you look back and think of amazing food you've eaten? Doubt it.

I cut from 348 to 220 in a year and a half. Then spent 8 months holding between 220-230 up and down constant, eating a lot. Recently I cleaned up the diet and am doing about 2000-2500 calories a day with high protein, and I do a single 24 hr and a single 36+ hr fast a week.

I put those two fasts around my Wednesday date night meal, and Friday date night meal, so I can eat freely.

The rest of the week is 2-4 meals a day with just planning the meals ahead and no need to count since I’ve been doing this so long.

I recently cut 16 lbs in 2 months and my lifts are doing great. You can cut weight keep it off and cut further. I’ve done it all, fasting keto carnivore etc. it all works. Count calories and plan your day to have fitness and nutritional goals and stfu
