Yeah it’s called a map of the ocean floor. They hadn’t mapped it when they made the theory. The Pacific Ocean floor doesn’t conform with plate semitics
Who fricking cares? Most of the theory comes from one person who believed the earth expanded. The theory instead replaced expansion with subduction and a fricking science class convection cell driving this motion. What happens when all the continents squish together? Does it go backwards? So the sea floor is spreading and the “old” plate material is subducting under itself yet still maintaining the overall shape and continents on top? Do you really believe this? It's way more likely if an asteroid did it, it hit somewhere within the Pacific ocean and created a gigantic wave which drowned everything so there would be no impact blast to throw dinosaurs everywhere.

Multiple problems with this theory, but the one that stands out the most to me is that isn't how orbits work. Even if the asteroid did launch dinosaurs into space, their orbits would've decayed by now and they would've fallen back down to Earth. Go straigh up = go straight down. In order to acheive a stable orbit, your horizontal speed relative to Earth must match or exceed your downwards acceleration to gravity, the closer your orbit, the faster you need to go, and Earths gravitational field extends beyond the moon
