I use it in a friendly way but I'm probably autistic so make of that what you will
There is a guy i call boss because i genuinely think he is cool and awesome but the again what said
A cashier called me that today. I was thinking it was condescending but he seemed friendly.
It's friendly. It's just like "bro" or "dude", don't worry about it
Chads call each other boss
depends entirely on the context
>boss
>bro
Good.
>bud
>buddy
>pal
Bad.
>sir
Situational.
what if they call you "doc?" do you tolerate bugs bunny larpers?
>doc
>if doctor
>if inside joke
Good.
>if not doctor
Bad.
What about "maestro?"
>maestro
>if musican
>if not muscian
>if inside joke
Good in all situations until proven otherwise.
>Youve claimed to be good at something in the past or right before doing that thing in front of people
>Do it averagely or terribly, even if you think you did a good job
"damn good job maestro"
"you sure showed us, maestro"
This would be an inside joke. Have a laugh and improve your skills or more accurately evaluate you skills before confidently declaring them.
Good God, you are the true maestro.
a man of true wisdom if its samegay. you are the true maestro! thank you for your infinite wisdom and knowledge bossman
What about chief? or the size ones. little guy. big guy.
>chief
worse than boss but not as bad as buddy
>lil guy
bad
>big guy
bad
>little guy
>big guy
>anything requiring an adjective
Bad.
>chief
>if having done something admirable
>if bulk maxxing
Good.
>if not done anything admirable
>if fat and weak
Bad. In most situations people called chief will not worry about. If you second guess yourself about being called chief, you're not a chief and it is meant condescendingly.
It's a prison thing. Anyone who says boss is clearly a degenerate ex con.
i’ve only been called boss by black waiters at restaurants. little do they know i am also a wagie
I use "big man" exclusively and ironically for DYELs. It's passive aggressively saying you're not big. I'll also use "guy" which always gets people mad, then I lift my shirt and show my holster
Its usually just some chump trying to sound cool
