Literally yes. You are still performing the same compounds. Once you max out noob gains with bodyweight then weights become mandatory if you want to progress any further.

Do more pull overs and you can get there. It took me like 2 weeks to be able to do my first. A lot of it comes from how explosive your pull is and then using the small bit of hang time to switch your hand position to be able to do the dip portion

I can do these, it's a dumb party trick. It just requires good pull up power along with know how to position your grip and transitioning.
I am 190lbs, please stop giving twinks justification for their abysmal lifts, contrary to popular belief you can get really fricking fat and heavy and still be able to do a lot of pull-ups unless you completely neglected the lift.
