The Reuters article is interesting and I'm not saying that what Merck did isn't shitty, but do remember that Reuters is ran partially by some people from Pfizer (a competitor of Merck). Also do with this study what you will, data doesn't really lie.

For the record, I'm using fin topically and I'm not noticing any sexual effects, although I usually start to feel this weird drowsiness when I take it for a while. Could just be in my head but it doesn't surprise me at all that nuking a masculine hormone would cause side effects. Personally, I think applying it topically should minimize risks since topical application has been shown to exhibit less serum DHT reduction than oral administration. I'm no more depressed than I usually am, too.

This is basically bullshit and a large part of "post finnasterisde syndrome" is mass nocebo.
They even did a study where they got two groups of guys taking it and one group they really emphasized saying "it may cause erectile dysfunction, decreased libido, problems of ejaculation but these are uncommon" and then that group got way more than the other guys who were told "yeah it'll help your prostate cancer".
What happened? The guys that got the talk had way more problems.

placebo is a real effect , that doesn't mean that side effects aren't real as well

literally debunked several fricking times over with studies in which men given a placebo pill still reported erectile dysfunction, brain fog, and all types of shit, showing a psychosomatic relationship between their own pre existing knowledge of the "Risks" of the drug and the outcome of taking literally fricking sugar pills.

this has been done over and over and over. your link cites HUNDREDS of people suing the company over their dick not working or some other such nonsense. hundreds, out of millions of people who have ever taken this shit. i've been on it for something like 8 years now, well aware of the risks before hand, my dick not only works, it works just as well as it did before, my brain is totally fine, i got jacked AFTER starting it, showing that DHT, while a powerful hormone in packing on muscle, was also not entirely needed. i have had zero downsides, millions of others have also reported zero downsides. the only negative thing i have ever seen truthfully reported is diminished efficacy over time, where people who are very truly destined to lose their hair just lose it slower over time.

you read one fricking thing on the internet, that doesn't even have good evidence to start with, to try and smear the stuff, and you run with it, because you are a bald homosexual who regrets not taking the shit to start with. frick you, frick off, and stay bald, keep coping.

You dont understand the mechanism and havent talked to enough people who took it, it can frick you up in horrible ways but i guess not having hair will be the least of your problems after that so it kinda solves that obsession for sure lmao

Bullshit. 99% of men who take fin have zero sides. Ive been on it for years and bust fat nuts still. People don’t report when everything works as intended. The people shouting about how it broke their penis are the vocal minority. So sick of this moronic smear campaign against fin. If you get sides from it you were probably going to get ED anyway.

This is also untrue, recent studies show AT LEAST 15% of men experience sides

Oh good a study, let's have a look here...
                >Nocebo effect refers to an adverse effect that results from the psychological awareness of the possibility of the side effects, but is not a direct result of the specific pharmacological action of the drug. In this study, the group informed about the sexual adverse effects of finasteride reported increased incidence of ED, when compared to the group without information.[7] The side effects were completely reversible in 5 days when the medicine was discontinued, confirming that nocebo effect has an influence in causation of side effects and suggesting the role of psychological factors.

I think it's hard to get an oral prescription of Minoxidil unless you have high blood pressure. I heard it grows hair everywhere, not just your head, which sounds great, honestly. I wish my chest was hairier.

I've been taking essengen from minoxidilmaz for 4 years now and my balding has definitely stopped. The hair only grew thicker in places where it was thinning. If you're completely bald at the temples it will not regrow. I've also tried microneedling for a year but it's too much of a pain and I didn't want to wear a buzzcut anymore. Overall I recommend topical fin and minoxidil, no side effects for me and my hair looks way better. The con is the cost. I have to ship it from the US to Europe and spend 200 USD every 4 months

    1. Oral fin - buy propecia(literally same as fin, look into it) and cut the pills at home to fit dosage of one finastride pill, makes that shit three times cheaper.
    2. Microneedle scalp
(Optional) 3. Topical minoxidil - this one sucks wiener cause you have to to it FOREVER and it is a pain in the ass to smear that shit in your head every day, if you hop off it you lose those minox dependent hairs within weeks

Fin cons are that you can get sides, I took it, didnt have any sides at all, except I got massive gyno and started lactating once a week.. nah just kidding
