Why can't you give up bedrotting? It sounds like it's what's holding you back.

Then do it little by little. Go for walks more often. When you want to snack get fruits and vegetables instead of chemical garbage. Work up to your goal. I will advise to stop bed rotting constantly. It's okay sometimes, but it's really unhealthy for numerous reasons.

I figured out how to reply, ty for the advice, that’s usually how I start out but I push myself too far and start bedrotting again. I’ll try to keep at it even when I don’t feel like it

You need to accept discipline instead of motivation. Getting up only when you're motivated is an emotional decision. You're just passively waiting to be in the right 'mood' to do something instead of actively doing something whether you 'want' to or not.

    >other than starvemaxxing
Babe. Honey. Sweetie. The answer to losing weight is to eat less. That’s it. You don’t have to eat a single raw carrot every day till you die, but you shouldn’t eat 3 full meals a day if you’re short and/or sedentary. You’re probably both, and probably just need to eat maybe 1200cal a day. That’s it. No secret magic trick, no agonizing starvation and multi day fasting, just eat less. Even if you reduced your intake by ONE meal or snack, you’d lose at least some weight. Start by eating normal tomorrow when you get up and write down EVERYTHING YOU EAT AND DRINK. Only water, plain green tea, plain black tea, and herbal tea are zero calorie. Every snack counts. If you really want your hand held, take pictures of every snack and plate of food you eat, every drink you consume, make a picture collage, and post it in the /fat/ loss thread and ask for help counting it/if your portion sizes are the issue or if you just eat too many small meals a day.

Thanks for the advice, genuinely, I try to stay at 600 calories for my one meal and I drink everything zero calories so I’m already following some of your advice, I’m just so used to eating gluttonously it’s kinda depressing to not have big meals like I used to. And my meds make me so hungry.

Adding to this anons suggestion, write down things you are trying to do to improve yourself, and whether you are doing them or not. This will help you not try to change too many things at once, and will help keep you focused on what you are doing. Also reviewing what you succeeded at and for how long can help motivate when you are feeling down and reviewing what you failed at can help you plan your approach in the future. I recommend making daily check boxes in a physical notebook, but do what feels right.

600 calories a day is too low and unsustainable. Double that at least, depending on your weight and height.

You can't. You can eat less and be mildly inconvenienced by hunger or you can stay fat.

Try avoiding fast food, everything you get eating out is starchy and high carb. Make sure to get protein with every meal. If a hunger pang distracts you, drink some water, it will pass. This is a test of willpower, but it gets easier as you progress. Down the line consider 16-8 fasting protocols. Again, it's something your body will adapt to over time.

Just remember that you're useless to the world as a woman if you don't look good. That should motivate you.

    >i don't want to eat less or move
I feel the same way when I need to eat more or move less
but you just need to build toward different habits
try eating a -300 deficit by strictly counting your calories on site like cronometer or something
after a few weeks you can figure out what kind of meals you like to make yourself comply to the calorie budget
cooking the same few meals you like a day makes it easier at first and you can diversify from there once things are under control
like I ate nothing but coffee and pbfit on toast and lean ground beef /w a little rice for a while before I found other staple foods and recipes I liked

moreover the more muscle mass you have the better so read the sticky and find a beginner lifting routine you like and focus on doing just that
a workout probably won't take longer than 30 minutes for a beginner once you get the hang of it but as you progress and need rest to make ur sets possible it'll take more time
training also changes your mindset as you learn howto and get interested in all that and getting sweaty makes you take regular post-workout showers which help a lot with changing your routine naturally
for me, it's much easier to do yardwork/chores after a workout because I'm fired up and know I'll be content on the pc or in bed later

hi anon as a fellow bedrotter i would recommend you ask your psychiatrist about (or better yet do your own research into) ketamine infusions. It completely changed my life and is the reason I am alive (and enjoy living!) today
