I'm at my breaking point.

I'm at my breaking point. My entire life I have struggled with constant body dysmorphia, every tiny insincerity completely takes over my mind and because of this, I know I can't trust my own perception of my body. So I want it straight, laid out for me, the pros and the cons, and what the hell I can do to fix them. I've been mistaken for a ftm transgender before in this site and I'll post my progress pics in the thread.

        good progress but your breasts were nothing like OP's breasts, in your case it was just fat, OP's breasts are very very feminine looking, I think its good for him to get it checked by a doctor.

          Not the guy from the whitepill, but OP should lose weight in any case, and then he'll know for sure.
          As you start to lose weight the fat stored in your moobs will start decreasing as well, if it's not gyno of course.

      • 10 months ago
        Anonymous

        calisthenics arent doing you any favours unless youre doing a lot of pull ups and dips (daily)
        youll see faster progress with weights and a very harsh cut. however hard youre cutting now, cut harder. get the suffering out of the way. refeed to maintenance (not binge) once every 1-2 weeks so you have the will to keep going. its very easy. this way
        really you can do whatever you like in the gym as long as you go very heavy and progressively overload ALWAYS. start your workouts with heavy compounds and exhaust every muscle with isolation movements. UL split 4x week is good for natties, especially cutting.
        as a bonus youll kill your estrogen while cutting and your gyno will probably evaporate
        that is what happened to me, we actually have a similar body type. it only took me a month or so to totally change my body

    You have an average, soft looking body. It's 'normal' but it doesn't stand out as particularly attractive to the majority of people. Like most men you're invisible. The desire to change it is normal. You need to lose fat, build muscle and be healthier. So eat clean, lift weights and run or [insert cardio of your choice], it's pretty simple.

    Get your hormones checked out by a doctor and rule out stuff like Kleinfelter's. If you DO have a hormone problem, they can give you hormone treatments to help. If you don't have anything serious, just focus on getting lean and then putting on muscle. Make sure to work your lats to help make your chest look wider and take attention away from your hips.

    There's nothing wrong with this. At 6'0 computer programmer nerd I weighed 155 lbs soaking wet until I was around 22 and started lifting. Picrel is me now at age 39. I went from 160 to 215 lbs in 9 months, then shredded to 200 or so. I weigh 212 today (in pic). I had similar build. I won't post photos but trust me.
    You can undo the damage. Just eat good and lift brother.

        I have been taking a shot of 150-200mg test cypionate the past six months every two weeks, but I'm almost 40 and I recently got off hard drugs (heroin/fentanyl). In pic I posted just a moment ago to gyno response post, this is before I ever touched anything like it. I did the 160-215 just thru lifting and eating, and the shred to 200 by nutrition and HIIT alone. I didn't touch test until February of this year, turning 39 next week.

        The point was I did 155-215 in 9 months and then 215-200 in a month or so after that. It's achievable. Even for someone who drinks and does drugs and sits at his computer all day programming unix c and x86-64 assembly all day like a hermit troll. I did it. Before the benefit of boards like this back in 2004-2006.

          >Even for someone who drinks and does drugs and sits at his computer all day programming unix c and x86-64 assembly all day like a hermit troll.
          ok. based.
          i tried learning assembly but i was filtered hard. I have alot of respect for people who can do bare metal programming and who can understand the kernel level aspect of computers. wish i had that talent because i make shit money.

          • 10 months ago
            Anonymous

            You always can if you have the desire. The trick is learning the translation the compiler does from C to assembler. write some code in c, compile,.disassemble. Understand why it's doing what. Look at kernel source code (Linux, Minix, BSD). At some point things start to click. The hardest part.for me was understanding hex and binary and octal math but they're like base 10 just 16, 2 and 8 respectively. You don't have to understand why the processor is doing what's it doing at a physical level, just the virtual.
            I recommend os development forums and looking at beginner resources. Writing a bootloader that can run on bare.metal separates the men from the boys.

              Anonymous

              thx for the tips. i did a really shitty udemy course that just basically walked me through how to write a simple OS/bootloader on a raspberry pi, but i basically learned nothing because i was just following instructions. If i ever find the time, i might play around with it again. hard to find the time for assembly projects when you wageslave 40 hours a week and lift, but thats just me making excuses i guess.

              • 10 months ago
                Anonymous

                That is tough. I fell into it because this is al I did age 12 to now. I literally spent my entire puberty years in front of a nice warm Linux terminal with b***hX IRC client running on one try and hacking and programming in another, 1996 to now. But it isn't innate. Just need passion.
                If not, but you dig technology and programming, there are many higher level paths for careers or hobbies that don't involve the same level of time spent in a disassembler and debugger. Python and ruby and whatnot are fun and you can always go lower level when you need.
                Udemy isn't bad but nothing beats messing around. But that isn't always conducive to a career more like a hobby.
                What's your wage slave job? Is it tech or tech adjacent?

                im a mechanical technician at a calibration company. work with torque wrenches and dc/ac power supply stuff. its very hands on technical and not so much software. Learning more about assembly, c, computers, ect. is a side thing at the moment. I want financial freedom, and i believe software is the path towards it.

              • 10 months ago

                I have a hard time with physical/real-world stuff. When it comes to machining, organizing my tools, or even using much of these tools, I am as inept as a mid 90s AOLer (or worse, DALnet IRCer) sitting down at a mainframe terminal. It seems the paths don't really cross. I am software guy, I have hard time with hardware. I appreciate the math and science behind it but I just never really learned. Nowadays I try to fix a lot of stuff on my own, and did some commercial roofing on the side for a bit, but always came back to the software side of things. I admire someone who can manipulate these tools well.
                Software/programming might seem profitable but there are many forces at play that can sully this path. I might recommend you look at leveraging your skillset and understanding/aptitude into a business (if you have the acumen, otherwise find someone to handle the finances/biz side for you) where you apply these things to homeowners, other small biz, etc. Everyone needs someone that can get the job done. I pay someone to do these things because my time-benefit tradeoff is high, and learning how to do it is beyond my wheelset in near term and by the time I've learned, not only have I fricked it up probably, but I could've paid someone else to do it competently. You can exploit this.

          >and does that usually indicated roids?
          Test converts to DIHIDROTESTOSTERONE or ESTROGEN. Take too much test without having your shit together - your body will be converting it to extra ESTROGEN as well.
          So it can be roids, but can also be shit diet, since eating shit food makes your body full of estrogen as well.

      Not constructive input. Just take drugs for your mental state. Just take steroids. Just go get this or that cut off. You might as well be a troony- 'feel confused? Cut your dick off'.
      Even absolute endocrine destruction in your formative/puberty years can be reversed. Maybe not 100%, but given enough time, effort, and control - that is, eating real food and exercising right - you can undo much. Many people who have sagging skin after severe weight loss think surgery is their only option. It's not.
      The only people who benefit from such ideology are a group of people who wear small hats.

          What is your diet and sleep / stress habit like? Hormones can be fixed thru correction not involving surgery or drugs. Some people certainly have predisposition. But like every woman that says their PCOS or 'genetics' are to blame they're full of it.
          I'm not being obtuse either, tell me, I might have some input.

            Gyno is caused by horomones during puberty.

                Most likely. You can reverse this, but it's not easy. Endocrine system malfunction can lead to storage of fat in places where it shouldn't be for men. Women with gyno just have big breasts; men on the other hand have b***h breasts. But you can change this through proper diet exercise sleep and stress management. By proper diet I mean drop the processed foods and goyslop. Men are just as bad when it comes to assessing their nutrition as any fat b***h is who claims their problems are 'genetic'.
                As I have been posting in this thread and nobody has answered me yet, I implore you that if you have gyno, plz tell me: 1) what you eat in a day on avg, and overall for the week; 2) whats your sleep like; 3) whats your physical activity/stress like? (they're intertwined)

What kinda food? Beef/Chicken/Fish/Pork/Seafood/rice/lentils/Banana's/apples and so on. Or at least a logic to the food. If you're vegan or some similar moronic shit, let us know.

                Don't feed his delusions. Gyno is caused by horomones during puberty. If it can be fixed by diet post puberty, then you can make the same logical assumption that you can still grow taller post puberty with proper diet.

                Yes, pretty much exactly what you just said.
                To clarify:
                grass fed beef (walmart has $6.50/lb grass fed/finished beef in packs of 3lbs in midwest, source verified);
                eggs (anything better than nothing, but i like onions feed free; free range means nothing);
                fruit: bananas, apples, anti-oxidant rich berries (blueberry, cherries (not marischino), raspberry, blackberry); buy frozen to save $$;
                glyphosate free honey (manuka honey but its expensive);
                grass fed butter, clarified butter (ghee);
                bone marrow;
                liver (calf, preferably, less time for the liver to absorb all the toxins from garbage livestock feed);
                certifiable grass fed/low slop feed chicken;
                pork if needed (its never great, but better than non meat);
                fish: preferably nothing farmed, all wild caught; but absolutely NOTHING from china / sea of china; preferably wild caught alaska / north atlantic; mussels are cheap, and delicious, but low calorie;
                seeds/nuts: chia seeds, almonds/cashews/macademia nuts/sunflower seeds; peanuts in moderation, its cheap tho, but no peanut butter unless its just peanuts and salt;
                dairy: high fat (5% - 10%) greek yogurt; grass fed milk; raw milk (goto your local high end pet food store, or your local farm, depending on laws); goat milk.

                i forgot some stuff im sure but this is what i eat, and i don't put on any unwanted fat. the high fat ratios keep my leptin signaling to my brain all is good, and satiated; and anything not fat-satiation related is satisfied by the fiber in the fruits. do not drink fruit juices, you need the natural fiber.

                also to add: the big DO NOT FRICKING EAT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES:

                MSG;
                high fructose corn syrup / corn syrup;
                seed oils ("vegetable" oils);
                ultra processed grains (fiberless);
                onions anything unless fermented onions product/traditional;
                anything w/ added sugar;
                basically any processed food.

                Based food list. Didn't expect it. While your diet advice is pretty good. Do note that diet may not be enough to see any meaningful chances for the rest of one's lifetime. Why? The person who's poisoned if not just poisoned by diet, but by generational (his mom/etc) diet. And if that's not enough we're breathing tar from the air, plenty of waves (wifi/radio/etc) that frick with us too.
                Changing the diet alone simply can't outweigh everything AND heal you back to "normal".

                Indeed but it is certainly better than not doing it. The whole 'live your best life' isn't just a vapid 'inspirational' quote, it's true to everyone. You can always try and undo what's been done.

                Re: generational damage this is very true, a year ago I saw what I thought was a middle aged hormone-destroyed woman walking thru the mall with her sister but it turned out it was a mother with her 15 year old son. I wanted to report child abuse this boy was so fricked. He proceeded to eat nothing but Cool Ranch Doritos, fountain Pepsi and Chinese food at the food court. His mother had a build just like him. He was doomed from the start. I can't stop thinking about him. I have two boys, 11 and 14, and a child on the way, and I cannot imagine doing this to them.
                But I would tell him the same thing- you can undo it. He can try. If that's what lifts him up, it's all good.
                Also based radio wave pills there, I went to a camp site with my cousin's husband a while back and my persistent headaches stopped. and it wasn't stress. The 'black shakes' (NAS) from "Jonny Neumonic" was ahead of its time.
                Regards anon

                Now I see why your comments rubbed me the wrong way.
                You would lie to lift someone up. I would contempt/revenge the person that lied to stir my hopeless effort. Why not tell the limits of the truth? The lie to make someone feels betters feels all the more worse once they wake up to their futility. That's just... cruel.

                Also, b/c I just made some, if you're "bulking" or just need to recharge before a workout:

                smoothie:

                Coconut milk (canned is like $2.50 for 900 calories of pure delicious fat);
                Chia seeds;
                frozen strawberries/bananas/raspberries/blackberries/blueberries;
                a bit of grass fed milk or goat milk;
                date syrup or some other non-artificial / non-sugar sweetener;
                water & crushed ice;

                mix in a food processor (preferred b/c it can handle the frozen fruit and thickness of the ice+coconut milk+chia seed mix), blender otherwise but blend slow so u dont burn out motor;
                choose servings of each item based on your individual goals/needs;
                enjoy.
                but eat lots of meat if youre eating this, its high carb rich of course but the fat from the coconut and fiber from chia will help your satiation. drink slow. you dont have to consume the whole blender full. that's fat woman / menstruation woman shit.

                I didn't say (or mean) it exists in your head. I meant that you yourself are responsible for the effect it has on your psyche. People are saying I have gyno here in this post, but nobody I know nor has seen me has ever told me that, nor have I ever thought that, and at one point I did marketing campaign photos for a reputable fitness brand when, I think, my chest looked more 'gyno' than now. If you are diagnosed with having gyno, and surgery really is - after you've truly looked at all options - and it makes you feel better, I cannot tell you how to spend your money and more relevant to this your literal blood and recovery time. But I'd say for every 9 people here thinking they have gyno because some random anon told them this, 8 of them don't. The other 1 does, and the last 1/10 doesn't exist.

            >Hormones can be fixed thru correction not involving surgery or drugs
            Fixing hormones will not fix gyno. Once you have breast tissue it cannot go away. Only "fake gyno" (e.g., where it's just fat that looks like gyno, not actual tissue) can go away. Surgery is the only option, you're moronic.

    If you're delusional enough to have body dysmorphia, go see a the rapist.
    Be adamant that you are not a troony and if they suggest it, because of current social trends, find another one.
    Take a blood test. Check your test levels. If they are too low, talk to your doctor about getting into TRT.

    Join a gym. Four times a week for one hour. Compounds every day.
    Deadlift.
    Squat.
    Bench.
    Bent Rows.
    Low weight at the start until you learn the forms, check YouTube for examples. Increase the weight for a given exercise EVERY DAY until you can't complete 3 sets of 10 reps and once you can't, stay on that weight and try to hit 12 reps and when you do, increase weights.
    If you don't know what do after the compounds, search for PPL programs (I recommend Jeff Nippard's, you can find it on the Russian library).
    5 min cardio before the workout, 20-30 min cardio after. No b***h speed. You have to sweat and breath fast.

    Be consistent.
    Work hard.
    Train heavy.
    Don't listen to yourself.
    If you wake up and don't feel like it, do it for half the time.
    Do not skip.

    Only you can save yourself.
    No one can sweat in your place.
    Good luck. troony.

    My advice would be to go on a slight caloric deficit, high protein (maybe even carnivore), cardio, hypertrophy program (where you go to failure every exercise, every session, no matter what), and get hormones checked. Do that for 6 months and you will probably get out of gyno hell and into DYEL.
