I'm beginning to get cavities in my teeth, what can I do before seeing a dentist to look after my health?

I've already cut out sugar from my diet and am brushing my teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste. Mid-day after lunch I try to use mouthwash if I'm close to home.
I'm drinking much more water and hoping excess debris from food gets swallowed easier instead of sitting in my mouth.

Is there anything else I should be doing? Has anyone else managed to reverse cavities without fillings?

My teeth look and perform totally healthy. I have no trouble eating or drinking, no sensitivity when drinking something with ice or hard things like bones. Good proportions and no strange angles, but I have the typical brown lines on the top of my bottom set of teeth which are signs of decay because of the neglect I've shown.

Brush your teeth properly, I don't want to see pieces of meat in between your teeth.

Any helpful replies? Surely someone else has had teeth that have gone bad and turned it round?

Get everything fixed while the cavities are still small, eat less often and cut down on carbs.

I don’t think you turn around bad teeth. They just get worse.

Had cavities and pain. Started to floss, got an electric toothbrush and switched to some basic Elmex toothpaste.
Also make sure you don't grind your teeth during the night or sleep with your mouth open.
And don't use mouthwash, most of them have alcohol which just causes more issues by drying out your mouth and they're pointless anyway.

Chew xylitol gum after meals after swishing your mouth with water.

    xylitol gum or xylitol mouthwash
    floss/waterpik
    professional cleaning every 6 months
I don't think you can actually reverse cavities, but this should prevent any new ones
Some people absolutely swear by stupid shit like going carnivore and oil pulling but this sounds like such a moronic placebo alternative medicine anecdotal advice that I honestly find it hard to believe

      >oil pulling
I actually rather liked this, seems to work and coconut oil is tasty anyway so its easy to try.

make sure you're waiting enough time after meals before brushing. I used to brush my teeth immediately after eating, which causes two major holes in my teeth over time.

This is very important too, and also many people immediately swish their mouths with water washing away the toothpaste remnants.

Fluoride toothpaste can reverse small pre-cavities. My dentist gives me a heads up if I have any starting to form. I heard it yellows your teeth a bit tho.

And don't be a b***h, floss nightly at least.

Research your local dentists' family origin, customer demographics, clinic worker demographics. I think you understand what I mean.

Everyone in here has given trash reddit advice, "GO THE THE HECKING DOCTOR", kill yourselvs. Very simple solutions you can try:

Buy vitamin k2, prefferably a pure one like the one from health natura on idealabs. It can regenerate superficial enamel. If the cavity has penetrated the dentin it might be harder to get results.

Buy xylitol powder and swish a solution of it after brushing your teeth.

Start mouthtaping with gelatin by moistening a small piece from a sheet in your mouth and then sealing your lips with it.

Refuse x-rays when you do go to the dentist. It will cause irreversible brain damage.

Vitamin K2 is responsible for transporting calcium from your blood to your bones. Take it

Vitamin K, vitamin D, calcium and magnesium are extremely important.
If you grind your teeth at night that means you have high adrenaline, increase sodium intake.
Stop eating PUFA, whole grains and raw vegetables.
