What are some tips so I don't mess up my health badly?
I'm planning to lift weights and have protein shakes 3 times a week so I don't loose too much muscle.

      That book's TL;DR:
      >get enough protein to maintain lean muscle mass (100-150g / 1.6g/kg lean body mass) and electrolytes to stay functional
      >only supplement vitamins as needed, and refeed here and there to avoid crashing too hard
      >your best bet: chicken breast, white fish, fat free yogurt; drink some Pedialyte and water as needed

      From my experience you should supplement fiber too, because you're not gonna get much from the program

        it's basically a starvation diet but you eat just enough protein to avoid losing muscle and organ tissue
        it's meant to be a crash diet and it's probably the safest one you can do

    Go on the fast thread. At your level of fat you don't have much to fear. At 17% and lower you'll need more focus on training and refeeding.

    The snake diet guy takes TRT/steroids when he does the snake fast so he doesn't lose too much muscle. So you should do that.

    Lost 140lbs in 11 months and look more muscular than I ever have in my life and I have been this same weight in the past. Just stop eating trash, 500+ deficit a day and work out, it's that simple. It's not easy, it's hell, but so worth it.

    Anyone serious about losing weight should also add walking into their routine. I know it can be hard.. I'm not doing it, but should be.

    But... if you just set your alarm 30 minutes earlier, wake up, put your shoes on, and walk out the door and do it, you're going to accumulate a huge amount of extra burned calories.

    Fasting is okay but don't drink the "snake juice". Rock salt is extremely toxic, and your health will take a nosedive from it.

    Yes, real sodium that is ionically bound to nutrients in food. Like that from fish, bland fruit like tomatoes, etc. Not sodium from processed rock that comes out of a factory.
    People have heart palpitations and sometimes literally die from drinking salt water. Don't drink that shit. Fasting is natural, drinking salt water isn't.
    You don't need that shit to do fasting.

        Losing fat slowly will not make your skin any less loose.
        Fasting actually solves the loose skin problem as your body eats it during autophagy.

        An animal-based diet gives amazing results as well, as you get a lot of collagen that solves this issue, which you will never get from any plant sources.

        Goats and other ruminants will lick salt if provided with it, that is true. That isn't really an argument for it because their digestive systems are extremely different from ours.

        And even then, the rock salt that you will find in nature and the stuff that you buy from the grocery store are two very different things.
        If you really think eating and licking salt rocks is natural, go and try doing that with the rock salt that you would actually find in nature, not the processed salt that comes from a factory.

        Lick one of these pink rock salt lamps, or the brine that accumulates on the surface of the rocks that are next to the sea.
        Then, and only then, once you're done vomiting, come back and tell me how natural and beneficial it is.

    Get 2-3 teaspoons of salt water per day. Or else your head will hurt and you'll feel like you're dying.
    If you fast longer than 3 days, break it slowly so you don't get re-feeding syndrome.
    Take an electrolyte mix with vitamins if it's a longer than 3 day fast.

    That's everything.
