I'm looking for suggestions for swim briefs that I can wear as underwear during hiking / biking so can jump into the water real quick during a hot summer day in a lake in the mountains or a river. Can anyone suggest a brand/model that is comfy enough for this?
How long are your tours? Considered just hiking/biking in swim shorts? That's what I do.
Hiking varies a lot for the path I take and how many peaks I want to visit. Recently I averaged around 20km per tour for hikes although I just hiked for 30km last weekend. That was quite taxing in the end because it was hot as frick (pic related).
Biking maybe 20-40km. I don't bike up large mountains and just stick to forest trails (I try to stay off the streets where cars drive).
genuinely jealous anon, that looks like a beautiful trek. all my hiking spots got taken over by meth and heroin addicted violent bums.
The trails got taken over by hobos? That sucks tbqh. If you aren't bound to that area due to family reasons then I'd honestly consider moving.

yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah sad many such cases oh well at least i can home gym
how far do you have it to the next not-infested part of your country where you can go hiking in peace?
board shorts with a liner. bennies of a brief but also stealth swimwear, high quality brands dry out very fast.
The material isn't made to be walked in, it's going to chafe like a b***h. Just go in your underwear (if it's warm it will dry quickly) or bring them in your bag and change
I thought since there are also polyester briefs for sport that there are also some swim briefs that can be worn during a hike.
Anon I...
If you wear these pls don't be like this guy and not trim around your pube region
Go naked?
I wouldn't be comfortable with doing that besides there are other people around.
I'm not a nude guy.
These are good.
I may be a homosexual but that doesn't mean I have to wear gaywear.
Just buy basic arena or speedo.
Don't bother with the models that use chlorine-resistant textile, if you're not going to use them in a pool; you will save money.
But honestly I don't know if wearing plastic while walking/biking for so long, can be irritating for the skin. I think you should just wear normal underwear and put on the briefs as you reach the water.
>But honestly I don't know if wearing plastic while walking/biking for so long, can be irritating for the skin
I'm not sure either but considering that I wear regular shorts for working out while hiking and my skin is never irritated I don't think it'll be an issue.
by regular shorts I also mean polyester shorts that I use when working out.
I don't know if you have decathlon in your country anon, I have several pairs of those transpiring shorts which I use daily, they're cheap, transpiring, hygienic and very comfortable, I change them during the day and wear with no undies.
Depending on your hiking route, if there's a clean path (no weeds, bushes ir low beanches on the way etc) I would suggest wearing them alone and bring several in your backpack.
I never used them in the water but I know for a fact they dry very fast.
They have a line for females which is an even better fabric to avoid body fluids stagnating.
I'm thinking about buying these

looks fine to me. They look normal considering the store sells gaywear.
Kinda have to shop at gay sites to find good underwear or trunks, everything else is all the same shit
I mean its not obnoxiously gay. I consider gaywear something with pride colours or swim briefs that are unnecessarily revealing which those aren't. But it's sold out and wouldn't be available in germany either way.
wear a lightweight jogging short, bonus one with a liner. They dry pretty quick. I wear a pair of new balance 3inch shorts and will swim after my runs and they're dry within a few min
Don't fricking wear swim trunks when hiking. Carry them in your pack with a towel and change into them. The material with chafe you the entire time you're walking, and once it's wet it will be even more uncomfortable.
I personally get stuff from turboswim.com. I play water polo and they specialize in more rugged suits for the sport.
I'd wear a thong.
