I like the idea of running, but my body sucks at it so bad that I feel miserable after two miles. My record is three miles but I'm almost ready to throw up at that point.

Just run slower. Cardio is always about consistency, run faster once you could run at your current speed without running out of breath.
Three miles (5K) run is more than enough for balance between decent cardio and keeping your juicy lifting gains, just stay there. All skelly dyels are long range marathoners since they need to be as light as possible. 10K (6 miles) is occassional experience to feel but not mean to be done every single time (you could do it frequently but you need to run slower, or just jog)
      As for 5K pacing
      >30min is mediocre but beat all the sedentary shitters who ran out of breath from jogging
      >25min is the beginner level. Still kinda meh but normies will praise you for being crazy strong (normie standards are actually pretty low). If you want to more on lifting side, this is already high standard to achieve
      >22min is intermediate level, could take 6months-2years to achieve. Easier if you aren’t bulky muscular one.
      >20min is advanced level. It is harder to achieve this (takes years of daily running). You almost guaranteed don’t need to attain this level.
running is the most effective and “pure raw” cardio but there are alternatives that are less punishing to improve overall cardio fitness.
      >static cycling is less punishing than running while you get the same cardio regiment (still ran out of breath but you don’t feel your body dragging you down like running). It is also workout that gives you monster tights, calves, glutes, ass. A convenient leg day
      >swimming is great. Even greater if you are already muscular. It also tones your muscle and still a lower impact workout (thanks to water compressing and cushioning your whole body)
      >if you want to deal with weights, do HIIT instead. Use lightweights but you lift it as many and as fast as you can with little time to rest between sets. Could do full body workout in mere 30min
      >also rowing with rowing machine. Must try

20 minute 5k was considered slow when I was in highschool. Sub 20 was decent. Sub 19 was good. Sub 18 was very good. And sub 17 was elite. There weren’t any guys running sub 16 at my school but that was because I went to a small school.

I mean that standard as 20s to 30s adult

20s to 30s adults should be faster than 16 year olds. Just like they should be stronger.

Being a fast runner is mostly about being light and skinny, having lots of time to run and not having to give a frick about injuries.

True but it is hard to get the lifestyle right as an goyadult. When I was a kid, even when I sat on my ass at school I would climb like 40 flights of stairs a day just moving through my 4 story high school. Plus time dedicated to athletics every day, etc. There is no PE time at schlomo's office.

indeed. i feel completely cucked. i spent 2 years running 4-10km every day or every other day. that didn't give me ANYTHING except shin splints that left me limping for 2 fricking months.
And THANK GOD it happened because I never returned to running afterwards.

these days if i want some cardio i do rope skipping or kettlebell swings (with a weight plate). FRICK RUNNING unless it's to catch a bus.

      >blame overuse injury on running instead of yourself and training
I'd love to have been there to watch your rationalize this to yourself

People who agree with stuff like this where they can’t wait to replace their body with robotic equipment are all weak nerds.
      >oh my glob the human body is so poorly designed
      >oops, did I say designed, I meant evolved lol, gods not real of course
      >so we need to replace our body and all become robots

        >NOOOOO YOU CAN'T JUST REPLACE YOUR BODY WITH COOL CYBORG PARTS AND RUN AT SUPERSONIC SPEEDS YOU HAVE TO GYMCEL LIKE ME NOOOOOOO
I bet you wear some expensive as frick running shoes with gel and sponge instead of going barefoot
        >technology bad

I’ve been doing barefoot for years. Modern shoes are terrible scams.

    >don't run or do any cardio this year
    >lifting routine employs a lot of antagonistic supersets or giant sets, sometimes turns into cardio I just rest until breath/pulse isn't a limiting factor but still high
    >decide to go for a 16km biking trip with +-150m elevation today
    >I am in better shape than when I actually did cardio
    thinking the same tbh

You pay money every month to do repetitive motions in an air conditioned environment, and you have zero b***hes to show for it.
