Arginine flux is the measurable amount of arginine in the body. The only studies that have ever mattered have shown time and time again that l-arginine supplementation does not increase plasma levels. There are like thirty studies on the first page of google showing these results.
l-citrulline is the only supplement that has increased l-arginine flux, period. That's why it's part of the l-arginine paradox.

We don't absorb more than 1g of arginine. More will only cause digestion issues. Arginine on it's own is not digestion friendly and can cause issues. So when you take 4g of citrulline, you still take less than 1g of arginine.
You are right. But just mention that taking any amount of citrulline (equal or more than the amount of arginine) + less than 1g of arginine is the best combo.
But our liver keeps the balance on citrulline and agrinine at 50/50. So taking only citrulline is just less strees on the digestive system and a little bit more stress on the liver.

I didn’t notice the effects of L citrulline until I lost weight and got my body fat down.
I’ve used both Citrulline and Cialis, the latter is great for boners but the sides for me was a constant stuffy nose, face gets red easily, and sometimes lower back pain.
I don’t have any side effects with citrulline but the effect on boners is a lot less.
I’d say citrulline does help with boners, but only a little.
If you want Cialis or citrulline to be the most effective, make sure you aren’t a fat frick.
