If you start now and take 10 years to get good, your competition will be filled with 20-40 year old men who started a decade before you. They'll the years of muscle memory and conditioning ahead of you and also have had better time to perfect their PED cycles, and build their training camps.
You can still become an extremely competent fighter, in comparison to the average Joe, but chances are you're locked out of the elite status because you've started training to late.

There have been multiple great boxers who started in their mid to late 20s. One of the pound for pound greatest heavyweights in history, Rocky Marciano, didn't start boxing or even exercising until he was 24 and he made it regardless of his shitty build for boxing. You can make it as a pro but you're going to have to put more work into it than you've put into anything in your entire life
Boxing in Rocky's times was several magnitudes less technical and you had less freaks of nature throwing punches at you.

Nah plenty of fighters start late you just have to make up for time lost with solid training and focus. I would say you would have better success at heavier divisions because of speed difference and you can rely more on the punchers chance. Also cause you haven't taken any damage at all that would give you some form of benefit in a way.
However becoming rich will be tough you might be able to make it as a high level journeyman though
